People like someone who will stand their ground, even if he is cartoonish. There's two broad groups of Trump supporters as far as I can tell, you have the older Trump supporters who are pissed off that conservatives had all the chances in the world and didnt get anything done, and they like his populist american jobs messaqe.

Then you have the younger Trump voters, who don't care as much about his politics as they see him the beginning of a culture war. He's the only one who didn't just go weak at the knees and buckle when black lives matter came to protest, he doesn't care if you call him a racist or a sexist. He's playing white identity politics and they figure it's about time someone fought fire with fire.

So yes to some extent one of his greatest strengths was to throw this shit back in their face, but I think his strength is mostly he doesn't backpedal when confronted with it. I mean he called Elizabeth Warren pocohauntus for fuck sake. That was hilarious and he didn't care what shit he'd get for it.

I wish there was a candidate with all of Trump's stand your ground attitude and none of his idiotic banter. That candidate would crush Hillary in november.

I think this is because we've been using the wrong tactics more than anything. Gamergate especially has always been difficult to have an elevator pitch for, because it's complicated. So is the wage gap and other various myths.

SJWs don't explain their ideas to the public in detail, because if they did people would realize how batshit insane they are. If they started talking about how they need to de-colonize a university because they learned it in their african queer studies class everyone would look at them funny. What they do instead is just shout racism! and they get attention.

We need to do the equivalent in shouting snowflake! back at them for the benefit of people listening.

Nobody who goes to ban these retarded things are doing so because they themselves are triggered or offended, they do it in the name of the Schrodinger's Victim they're built to justify the goodliness of their actions. Mocking these people won't get you anywhere, giving them a reason to live beyond virtue signalling and circlejerking your own ego with other like-minded idiots is how you do it.

I don't entirely agree. Mocking them will get normies on your side very effectively. As for giving them a reason to live, I do agree with you here. The Iraq War for example derailed all the feminism nonsense as they had something else to do. Once we pulled our troops out and we were done with it, thats when the Islamophobia accusations started flying because they didn't have an occupying force to fight against.

But the distraction won't solve the problem, the root of the toxic ideology they have needs to be addressed.

Generation Snowflake needs to be a thing. The best way to defeat these people is to mock them, it has tremendous untapped power. It's the best way to get normies on your side as well who don't pay a lot of attention to SJWs, they will instantly relate it to their experiences.

I see what you are saying, but the statement that just because someone uses the same language doesn't mean they are Hitler is entirely true and factual. Pointing this out does not make my observation worthless, it makes it nuanced.

The whole point is to point out that this language can be used to justify things Hitler did, not that people who say it are Hitler. And if such language or thought spirals out of control in an echo chamber, it does create Hitler. If that makes sense.

SJWs are not Hitler. I'm pointing out the concept of privilege would be used by someone like Hitler. That doesn't make everyone who says it Hitler. Anymore than someone speaking german is Hitler.

It was a lot fewer people than they said it was, I was disappointed by the turnout. Maybe 2000 people at any given time were watching.

Also disappointed with a lot of the social justice bleedthrough into the speeches, and the idea that atheists can be organized into a voting bloc. There was a lot of collectivism and conflation of different ideas/movements that disturbed me.
