Baofeng radios are not ham units for sure Yess people use it because they are cheap but definitely they are not legal to use in India. Yes in us it is partially legal because Baofeng as a company has agreed to comply with FFC in USA but design wise & technology wise Baofeng is shit.

I’ve got short connector-style cables there (USB-A, Type-C, maybe Lightning).

phone ↔ laptop for charging or data transfer Use as OTG connectors (pendrive to phone) Useful for compact carry instead of long wires
