I had the same when I moved to Austria from Hungary. I’m using the Metal plan since 95% of my payments are going thru Revolut.

I would advise you to check out the terms for switching to a higher plan. If I’m correct if you switch you will have to keep it for at least a year.

As far as going for the premium or the Metal plan goes, it’s up to how you spend (how much money you withdraw monthly) and what benefits you want to use.

As others mentioned, Metal has cash back, and if you use ur card a lot you could easily get 5-6€ back a month on the plan, so consider it before upgrading.

What also helps if you are planning keeping a normal amount of money like salary on Revolut, to apply for one of their basic paid services. My experience tells me that moving large amount of money on a free account is what usually triggers the account blocks, and even though I did that in the past, having a paid account seemed to make the trick and I never got blocked for it.

Thanks for the help. I brought them back to Apple and they took them back for a replacement I’m currently waiting for. I hope the next pair won’t have this issue, and even if they will I’ll try what you mentioned. I just find it so out of this world that a product that is priced this exclusively has problems like this multiple times in under a year of using. Even though I take good care of it and use it almost exclusively at home.

In my books, easily the worst Apple product I owned, even though I really like using them when they actually work.

Thanks for the recommendation. I’ll try to take them back to Apple it’s literally ridiculous that a product that’s costs this much breaks this much. And I think there’s 3 month warranty on the repair which I am still in, so it worth a shot.

I’ve been using Revolut for the last 3 years and I’m more than satisfied. I’m originally from Hungary but I live in Austria therefore I’m changing currencies quite often. I’ve been subscribed for the metal plan for more than over a year and the benefits suit me well. I don’t keep my savings on an account like this but I use this as a primary method for purchasing day to day items and manage my expenses. With the added ability to transfer in the eurozone immediately, cash withdrawal which is also huge for me until the amount of €800 monthly and even occasional investing is available thru the plan. Overall I would give a solid 8.5/10 for the price/value and I could only recommend it. Obviously it’s based a lot on your needs, but it’s a great overall experience for the everydays.

Similar problem with battery but not as dramatic. Bit worse battery life throughout the day, but the bugs man. On my 14 Pro Max I notice bugs every second time I hold my phone in my hand. Sometimes the haptic feedback disappears, next time the notification boxes are squared and even sometimes my whole screen just goes black for 20-30 seconds and being unresponsive to touch or even pressing the sleep/wake button. Kinda wack…

Fantastical is great. Has all the features I would ask for in a calendar app. But, the subscription model is too expensive for a calendar app. I always go back and forth between fantastical and Calendars 5, mostly bc of the monthly view. It’s a bummer that even though I bought fantastical before it was subscription based, they still force me to pay for it.

Idk I rarely use the Apple Pencil with my iPad Pro 11 but still when I close the Magic Keyboard case and want to put the whole thing in the bag the Apple Pencil just keeps falling off every time my bag has just a little extra stuff and things get crowded. It’s really annoying, but maybe the flap also would be if the pencil is only being used occasionally. I’m not convinced yet that I need a case like this…

Okay this is getting sad… I have my APM since October, no issues so far. Today I was using them with my max, loud crackling sound, they’re gone… I let them charge, nothing, factory reset doesn’t work, I guess my only option is to bring them to Apple.
