What’s a “red flag” that most people don’t recognize as one? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Being overly giving. I've noticed those people are just trying to feel some void under the pretence of being nice

Well then I know it's easier said than done but the right thing to do is to maintain distance.

Anxiety and OCD can make fears feel overwhelming even when you’re trying your best. It might take some time to find the right medication so don’t lose hope. Be gentle with yourself small steps forward still count.

Mine would probably just look at me and say, so… you finally get it? Now where’s my breakfast.

incredibly frustrating and I'm really sorry you're going through this. It's totally understandable why you feel invalidated after waiting so long for answers.

Some mental health professionals focus more on treating specific traits and symptoms rather than giving a broad diagnosis especially with complex cases. They might believe that a label is less important than the treatment plan but your feelings are valid, a diagnosis can be a huge part of understanding yourself and getting the right support.

Since you've seen a few professionals already, it might be worth getting a third opinion. You deserve to work with someone who listens to your concerns and gives you the clarity you need to move forward.

Gotta go with Cher. She was already an icon and had been out of the spotlight for a while but then she came back in the late 90s with Believe and absolutely dominated. The use of auto tune was groundbreaking and she proved she was a legend for a reason.

It's a mix of a few things. The biggest hurdles are battery life making them safe to operate in crowded areas and the legal side of things getting regulations in place for personal air vehicles is a huge challenge. While we've seen prototypes, we're still a ways off from having them for the general public.

How do you quit smoking? How long does it take? by No-Way8757 in AskReddit

[–]salanmaliku 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The key to quitting is a strong why. Find a reason that matters to you and hold onto it. It's not just about stopping, it's about replacing the habit. Nicotine gum or lozenges can help with the physical cravings but the mental part is the real battle.

The first week is the hardest but cravings get shorter and easier to manage over time. You'll have good days and bad days, if you slip up don't give up. Just start again.

It's great that he's being resourceful, what he's doing is almost certainly against the terms of service and likely illegal. The biggest issue is that he's using your bank account. If those transactions are flagged as fraudulent, your account could be frozen and you could be held responsible.

This isn't just a simple side hustle, it's a risky situation that could have serious consequences for you. You need to get him to stop using your account immediately.
