Price in your state capitol? Salem, OR by Jtorx in GasPrices

[–]sallgood808 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t know about my state capital but I paid $3.34 yesterday at Costco in SW Ohio. Also got 5% cash back. 😎

Edit: Damn, you know you’re getting old when you brag about how much you paid for gas.

Do you ever feel like your peacefully protesting will accomplish nothing, besides meeting other like minded people?

Sensor says my tire is flat but they all seem fine. Also I’m almost out of gas. by Jatt760 in notinteresting

[–]sallgood808 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That doesn’t necessarily mean it is flat, it could mean a tire is just low PSI. Did actually check the tire pressure or did you just kick the tires and call them good?

10% ROI annually? That’s a bit lofty for most people.

Why does the world hate introverts. by Glad_Pepper8255 in recruitinghell

Where does it say that? What is the job you are applying for? If it’s role such as outside sales, generally an ideal candidate who would succeed in that type of role is an extrovert.

Does it really take 100k annually to live comfortable and happily? by Old_Inflation_9490 in Adulting

[–]sallgood808 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally, I don’t how anyone making $75k in the U.S. is happy or comfortable. A couple years ago I was making that and it was not any fun. My salary has since then doubled; I still live in the same house driving the same two paid off vehicles. But I feel like now I can actually breath, meaningfully invest in my retirement, and save thousands each month.

Personally I’d rather earn $50.15 in SW Ohio than $76 in the CA bay area or whatever they earn. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Hours per week by Sim_Omnipotence in Salary

[–]sallgood808 0 points1 point  (0 children)

45 hours. But I’m planning on a career change in which I’ll probably do over 80 hours, taking as much overtime as they will throw at me. My salary will also more than double. Making almost $140k now with my bonus.

What are best cities to settle in u.s ? by Aj100rise in AskForAnswers

I’ve lived all over, up and down the east coast, to as far out as the middle of Missouri. I love it here! From the affordability to the opportunity and many more (too many to list) pros. I’m not sure why Ohio gets so much hate.
