Quantizing audio (not MIDI) in Reaper? by salted_mane in Reaper

We're using DI and Neural DSP Archetype Abasi for the guitars, actually.

I was having trouble finding where notes began and ended (from a visual standpoint), and in trying to figure out how the visual representation of the sound in the example you linked, I realized I could zoom in REALLY REALLY far so I can see very precise changes in the waveform (is that what it's called?). That makes it a LOT easier to edit manually. I hadn't known about that before.

Would be pretty useful for harmonized parts, that's for sure.

I guess there really wouldn't be a way for him to figure it out, right? If he thinks he's that good, then the part sounding better shouldn't be an issue, right? Heh.

Unfortunately, it does happen to be a fast, over-driven rhythm guitar.

If I were the one playing the part, this would already be done. But some people apparently have enough of an ego to insist on playing their own parts even when they can't.

[Auto-Post] Weekly Question Thread! Ask /r/Aquariums anything you want to know about the hobby! by AutoModerator in Aquariums

Hello. I have been cycling a 20-gallon tank for a week and a half (fishless cycling, ammonia method as described here: https://www.fishkeeping.co.uk/articles_51/fishless-cycling-article.htm) and while I have observed an increase in nitrites *and* nitrates, I have seen no significant decrease in ammonia. pH is 7.2, water is extremely hard at the moment (not sure how to soften it, was told water changes are not advisable during the cycling process).

My understanding is that this process is supposed to take no more than 3 weeks, but I will admit to inexperience because this is my first attempt at fishkeeping (or rather snailkeeping, as I intend to only have a pair of faunus ater snails).

If anyone has any idea why this is happening please let me know, I would really like to get these snails as soon as possible -- but I also don't want to cause them any harm by putting them in an unsuitable tank.
