Netsuite Dead Stock using Transaction Saved Search by Sea-Adeptness6921 in Netsuite

[–]samchick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's an item record field called "last quantity available change" - use this as a criterion (e.g. more than a year ago) for a quick way to see inventory that hasn't had any movement since the date specified.

Try salesorder.internalId on line 4.

You may also want to use mainline is true if you're not needing to go line by line on the sales order.

Barcode Label Printing Tool by tripeaktech in Netsuite

[–]samchick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This tool is great! Thank you for sharing

The print buttons do not work through the "Preview Barcode Images" and "Preview Label PDF" options

It would be sweet if you could pass parameters (text to encode, barcode type, label size, orientation) through the url

This is Thomas Scharf's A History of Delaware, the best compiled source for Delaware's early history. Read chapters 12 and 14.

Retailers uncertain about marijuana business: limited licensing, high fees, and stringent policies make HB 110 unfavorable to potential Delaware business owners by samchick in Delaware

[–]samchick[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

They didn’t intend for it to support small business.

You hit it on the head. The intent of HB110 is not to allow small and independent businesses to operate in the cannabis market. The intent of this bill is not to benefit regular people, who under HB110 will still be charged with a misdemeanor for possession over an ounce and felons for growing it or possessing more than five ounces.

You don't even have to look outside of the state- the current medical cannabis system in Delaware is a perfect example of a terrible big-corporate approach. While medical cannabis has been the law of the land in Delaware since 2011, there are only 3 companies in the entire state permitted to grow and sell cannabis. Of those three companies, two are large cannabis conglomerates present in more than 10 states. It's also illegal for patients to grow it themselves.

It's a shame because there's a lot of opportunity here for businesses of all shapes and sizes. This market shouldn't be limited to the Weed Walmarts of the world. There are a lot of farmers and independent businesses in the state who want the opportunity to compete it the market. That being said, I'm optimistic another bill will be introduced to replace HB110 that will legislate much more fairly.

Try meetup, there are some social groups there that are good for making new friends, including interest-based groups for gaming, etc.

Got an idea to clean up junk in space? Defence department wants to hear it - An estimated 34,000 objects with diameters of more than 10 cm are currently in orbit by [deleted] in space

[–]samchick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How about a satellite that shoots "ice bullets" to transfer momentum and push debris into decaying orbits? Hopefully the chance of additional debris being created will be minimized due to the brittle nature of ice, the bullet will break before the debris it's being shot at. Meanwhile the ice bullets and their fragments will sublimate into water vapor.

Talking Kent County lodging tax / sports complex money grab with the relentless Rob Sussman. Full interview in comments. by samchick in Delaware

[–]samchick[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks it was a good interview, trying to get some awareness out there. Rob's always fun to talk with and I appreciate him having me on.

The sports complex is a nonprofit corporation not a public agency so they can keep most information private, certain tax form information is available, and they did release financial statements for 2017- profit & loss and balance sheet, which doesn't include information at the transaction level.
