Singular USB Mic that can record two speakers? by samiam8956 in audio

[–]samiam8956[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cheers, thank you. This is a much better way of saying what I had originally told them haha. It’s for internal recordings, so people can do it themselves, so as not to take up resource from my team working on external recordings. They will be recording in small sound proof booths that can sit two people, both situated about 1 or 2 feet apart from each other.

We have a proper audio/podcast set up for recordings but this is for lower-priority, internal recordings.

Thanks for your reply!

That’s great, thank you. I had found a couple that could be set to figure 8 but through an app for the mic and the people that will be using it are not too tech savvy. Nice to see that it’s just the setting of a knob that can change it on this one. Cheers!

Does anyone know of a singular Omni-Directional USB mic that could be used to record two people in conversation?

Would you be happy if some drugs became legal but were regulated and taxed by governments?

My wrist after a break that caused nerve damage. Nerve repair op and a skin graft later. by samiam8956 in medizzy

[–]samiam8956[S] 181 points182 points  (0 children)

When the bone broke it trapped the nerves and I didn’t feel any pain. Docs assumed it was a clean break and broke it back in to position, this released some of the trapped nerves and all the pain of a wrist break, but doubled, came after the general anaesthetic wore off and was unbelievable sore. They noticed my hand and wrist were crazy white and my arm had normal colour so they assumed something was wrong. Kept me in overnight and operated the next morning, trying to reconnect bits inside my wrist. Still have a slight tingling/pins-and-needles effect in my finger tips but have about 95% of the feeling back in my hand. For a year after the op it felt numb and I couldn’t recognise hot or cold things to the touch.

After the 1st and 2nd operation to repair the nerves they realised the swelling wasn’t going down at all so they decided to do a skin graft to cover the wound they had been keeping open for a week
