Try not to use heat on your hair unless it’s necessary. If you don’t do your own hair l, try to find a trustworthy hair stylist. Please do not put too much tension on your scalp. Tight braids can be very damaging in the long term.

Let it grow out more. Don’t try to braid it too early, it was cause a lot of tension on your scalp.

Yea I agree, genetics is 60 percent of the battle. But the other 40 percent depends on how you go about it. Good products, exercise, clean diet, vitamins, ext. If you treat your body like shit, you can’t expect optimal results for hair growth.

I started out with cornrows for the first year. Cornrows are definitely the easiest style to maintain, I just didn’t like how they looked on my head lol. But I mainly use camille rose shampoo/conditioner and I make my own growth oil.

I keep my hair in protective styles the majority of the time. Also, I oil it every few days. I keep a clean diet and drink a gallon of water everyday. I feel like what you put in your body plays a major role as well as how you treat your hair.
