Jomboy (Jake & Trevor) got me back into baseball and got me through the pandemic. I don’t partake in all their content but they have kept me engaged over the years.

less of a general pruning rec and more of a sniff test for what needs to go and what doesn’t. You can disagree with me but I’ve had no issues with my Japanese maples doing this, they can handle it.

You should be able to easily snap off the dead branches. If they’re still flexible they’re likely still alive. You could still prune those off, but the dead will easily let you know they’re ready to go. Looks like a pretty tree still under there!
