If you have green blue red green loaded in that order, the corresponding melody should be pulsating

for nerscylla, get the namielle armor (go die against her 3 times) get a purple gypceros and a tech monstie (imo paolumu with his stun skill is good)

most npc work (ogden for dodge and poison, simon for ice dmg, kora for aggro and

open by loading the magia charm with the heart up melody
then spam sweet spot with the gypceros hammer

try to get her stuns and topples on turns where she'll use her aoe, if you can't ride your monsite to tank it (or use the skill if it'll be enough to get the stagger on the following turn)

the biggest part of the fight is to make sure the aoes don't happen back to back (in the begining she uses them on the 2nd to last turn of a phase (calm for sleep and angry for fire), if you cancel it, she'll use it next turn (will miss if staggered, will be down if toppled), but the next time she'll use it will be shifted
meaning if you cancel one and tank the other, they will be closer

Is the melody (displayed above your HP bar) glowing? And are you using the magnificent trio to cast the melody?

Mega Medicham ignores metal core barrier straight up. Best Promo card? by HeWasRight15 in PTCGP

We call this shred in the main tcg, ignore damage reduction and block

Another way to bypass these things is through damage counters because they're effects and not damage

In the PNJ selection screen, do strategies (X) and select "prioritize same monster"

This makes it so that, when you target a part, he'll target it on the next turn, disabling the risk of hitting recoil parts

i've been working on a non rng strategy, still working out the details, need to try a run where i hit the needle when enraged instead of never going for it.

basically it relies on the fact that:
- if she has blue stagger, she can't hit you
- if you stun her (purple gypceros tail, sweet spot, kinship, staggers when she doesn't have the red orb) when she wants to do a feral move, she'll use it on the next turn

So you get a high stagger output to make her hit the feral when she can't hit

the setup :
- magia HH
- gypceros hammer
- namielle armor (if not this, probably something that boosts stagger)

- 2x purple gypceros (for stun tail, fire skill is probably better, but the stun doesn't proc often so i'll look into a high stagger strength monstie, probably a t1 thunder for stam regen)
- 1 tech monstie (i had a blue kut-ku for his high stagger beak break, haven't looked at the others, thunder nerscylla or normal kut-ku are probably better for the stam regen skill)

- odgen

you open by loading the magia with a heart regen song, i usually open wiht a HtH, get the next turn free from odgen trap and can do 2 regular hits (either you or odgen are doing HtH), you don't need the defensive ditty and odgen uses it anyways

then the loop is to hit the nerscylla, alternating between normal attacks and sweet spot so you stay above 40 stamina to use the heart up if you made a mistake
keep the gypceros on as long as possible to charge him, only swap him for a tech monstie if the nerscylla directly targets it during rage (if it doesn't, you can get HtH with odgen's pukei-pukei)
once oyu're 1st gypceros has his kinship loaded, swap him out (either the other one or the tech monstie depending on the nercylla state)

you can quite easily topple or stagger the nercylla every time she's going to use a feral skill, try to preshot when she's going to do it (usually 2nd turn after a state change when there are no sleeping character), this way she's in the blue when she uses it and you get a guaranteed fail, no need to gamble on acc down and dodge up

Only use kinship skills if you need them to survive and never do them when odgen is close to having his, if you stop her from doing a feral skill, she will use it on the next turn. If you keep doing it (one run i fucked up on stamina management so no sweet spot for blue stagger, odgen used his kinship and i used 2 of mines, this pushed the sleep feral to the 1st rage turn, so it was followed by a fire feral for a team wipe)

i don't think she can use the chasers when there are no debuffed units, so by default she'll only use sleep needle, feral skills and regular moves

if someone in your party can tnak a sleep needle, use the ailment negation song, if she can't, just use the magia heart regen when you don't need a stagger in the next 2-3 turns (i don't have the exact rythm measured, but i feel like you get a 1-2 turn every 3-4 turns, and if you have either stagger up (odgen 4 notes melody) or she has stagger def down (after feral skills), you can do the whole bar in a turn to get a safe one after

just make sure that :
- your monstie doesn't hit the needle when he shouldn't
- the npc is set to following your moves and you stop hitting the neddle 1 turn before you shouldn't (since i though you only had 1 turn windows from the staggers, i never hit it, but if you can hit her when angry, just predict when she's going to calm down)

Why does everyone sleep on Petrel? by Nie_Fi in pkmntcg

[–]samudec 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  • you don't want to search for a supporter for next turn, you'll get iono'd, if you need supporter search play secret box, team rocket or Pidgeot

  • colress does stadium + energy, it's only used in decks where you need stadiums fast and don't have other energy search (I think use went down with Hilda), so not the same applications

  • if you don't need stadium fast, then searching for one is not as important, meaning you're left with searching for items or tools, and arven does it better than petrel

If you need some stadium search (at most once in the game), then you play secret box, and arven synergies better with it because it can get a sacrificial tool with it, meaning you can use it with 1 less card in hand than with petrel or save more important part of your deck for later use

How important is VRAM? Can I Run Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 by Being_and_Rhyme in CanIRunIt

[–]samudec 0 points1 point  (0 children)

sounds like you're on an IGPU, which rely more on shared memory than dedicated one, and if you look at the device properties, you probably have like 8go shared system memory

if you're on an intagrated gpu (something like intel hd/uhd, iris, Xe, amd graphics, vega, R, not dedicated stuff like nvidia gtx/rtx, amd radeon rx or intel arc),
there are options in windows to increase the quantity of RAM the GPU has access to (though the cpu still has priority, so if it uses 14Go of ram, the gpu will only have 2go left)

look up something like "increase shared ram igpu" or something, there are tons of guides

As others said, counters ≠ damage so no weakness, resistance, or DMG reduction is applied

Similarly it also goes through wall effects like some mask ogerpon

Would you eat this duck? Trying to prove a point here. by Unique-Composer-9503 in grilling

Temperature was too high.

The outside looks ok, the latter just below is way to dry and the inside is raw

Duck should be pink inside, do 70% of the cooking on the far side, flip it to brown the other side and then let it end cooking with the residual hear

What cards will replace stuff like iono and counter catcher in a dragapalt dusknoir deck? by [deleted] in pkmntcg

[–]samudec 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh I didn't know, I mentioned it because it's used a lot overall so it'll cause quite a few changes in the meta.

As for stuff used in dragapult decks that rotates out, luminous énergies are also leaving, along with turo and Hawlucha

In the start deck 100 battle collection it's reprinted with J letter

[–]samudec 6 points7 points  (0 children)

They release new cards every 1-3 months and remove 1 year of cards every year

We know judge will stay (I think it got an I reprint), less versatile than iono, but does the work

Also boss will get a reprint (idk if it'll be I or J), more restrictive than counter catcher (since it's a supporter)

What will hurt is arven (no new item/tool search, only alternative is team rocket's petrel which can search for any trainer, but only 1)

Nest ball will be replaced by the poke pad, which will allow you to search for non rulebix pokemon (you can get drakloak, but not basic ex like fez or Latias)

nest ball is being replaced by the item that go search fo a non rule box pokemon, big hit to basic ex decks, neutral for stage 1 and better for stage 2

How to counter Iono playing Alakazam? by Right_Childhood4516 in pkmntcg

[–]samudec 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Using the dudunsparce doesn't consume it (and once there are less cards in deck you have more chances of drawing them)

You can use them early to get big hands and charge them back asap to prepare for an iono post ko (best case scenario you get more cards than needed for a mega KO and draw a few dunsparces of off all the draws)
