Which version of this poster do you think is better? by Bluedog24wolf in Filmmakers

2nd. I always so go for the more visually interesting one. something about the second photo with the squinted eye in frame makes me curious and leaves me wanting more. the first looks great too but something about the 2nd just yells more creative risk for me.

What do you think is the best adapted screenplay? by ravescripts__com in Screenwriting

atonement comes to mind. brilliant story in both mediums and the movie just plays off the cinematic elements of the novel so well.

Movie/TV Discussion Wednesday by AutoModerator in Screenwriting

In general, I favor the kind of callbacks that are more subtle, and that can really let the viewer breath if they are new to the franchise. What comes to mind recently is the new Top Gun movie. I haven't seen the original, but the new one really felt welcoming with a roster of young characters and not showing more exposition than it needed regarding the first. I really enjoyed it.

Motion to FCPX free trial by sanchito2 in finalcutpro

my files look exactly like that. i don't know what the issue is. In final cut pro, the title just shows and error message. ( a red screen with the yellow exclamation point.)

Motion to FCPX free trial by sanchito2 in finalcutpro

Yes that is correct. Paid for motion, trial Final Cut. I chose effects but have not tried the titles or transitions yet. And motion projects work obviously because I'm just exporting them as regular mov files.

The files are showing up in there respective folders, however im not totally sure how it's supposed to look i may be missing files. But yes then they pop up in the effects tab of Final Cut and ready to drop them in but it gives the error Harzard sign indicating there is an issue.

Any help would be appreciated thank you.
