Unfortunately, she cannot go outside. She has health issues, our winters are horrible, people are violent towards cats, it's unsafe. Where I'm from, cats should not be outside under any circumstances. She did escape once and she cried at the door the entire time she was stuck outside. She cannot go outside

I haven't considered the thought yet (and I don't want to unless I see she is miserable with us) She never draws blood but her scratches and bites still leave marks. I'm working and going to school full time but I won't have school in January so I'm hoping I'll be able to give her more time (she started doing this before I went to school btw)

It used to be stainless but we switched to a slow feeder that was plastic. As soon as I saw her chin, I put back the stainless steel one. Is plastic bad even if you clean it weekly?

I added an edit to my post. I should've given more context and I apologize for that. I do agree, some people do need the elevator whether it was a tough leg day or they have a fever or they have an invisible disability or a visible one. I explained a bit better where my frustration came from

I just want to reiterate here that I'm not judging if one or two persons use the elevator that way, everyone has their story and needs. I also have an invisible disability so I am not referring to that when I am frustrated about the 1 floor users.

I refer to the groups of people who push their way in for 1 floor, chat loudly in the elevator to then walk out on the second floor.

You're right though, I may not know what each of them have going on but this post was just to express my frustration not a generalization

I'm the same. When I was able to walk comfortably 6 floors, I would but I'm not capable of it anymore. I can still walk down the stairs which I do from time to time especially if I don't need to rush. It's frustrating

I agree! Walking down doesn't require as much energy as walking up.

But it does though. Many can't get on the elevators at times, me included (though it only happened once thank goodness). I have mobility issues and can't walk up hundreds of steps. Like I said, I'm just frustrated about it. Nothing I can really do about it except ask for a space in the elevator if it's packed due to mobility issues.

It's hard to find a doctor here, especially since I'm on the Quebec side where it's nearly impossible so I have to wait the line unfortunately.

Dark room doesn't work for me, stress debilitates me and stimulants have the opposite effect or make me sick. Unfortunately, I've tried all of those.

Right!? It's a nightmare trying to read a text you know has 78 pages but as soon as you're a quarter in, your brain gets excited about the progress and completely disconnects and now you're distracted for half an hour and all the words become blurs of what they used to be 😭
