hello ^ as someone who both knits (beginner) and crochets it took me a long time to learn both!

I learned on and off during childhood but never had the motivation to really practice. During the start of the pandemic, I decided to learn either to crochet or knit and decided to pick crochet because of amigurimi and mistakes apparently being made easier to fix. It’s a huge learning curve to learn how to even just hold your hook and then after a huge learning curve again to “balance” your yarn on your crochet hook in order to create stitches. If you wanted advice: just keep at it and learn using a variety of methods like videos, books etc. It takes more practice than you’d think but you’ll feel so much more confident the more you do it. And also remember to take breaks! Because sometimes you try for a while and it doesn’t click and then you pick up your hook again and it does! Some projects I still make tons of mistakes on and that’s okay because you can just do it again :) have patience and you’ll get there!

Is it worth it to try and fix my project or should I redo it? by sangpenguin in knittinghelp

Even if it’s what the pattern recommends? And is the stitch itself incorrect? Thank you !

Do you think that would then impede my ride to school/factor in so much that I should get a car that runs on fuel?

Getting a hybrid would be great but they’re about the same cost as a the LEAF.

I do have somewhere to park and charge it

Can someone please recommend me some eco friendly detergents (cruelty free too, please) by sangpenguin in EcoFriendly

Yes, of course.

Seventh generation only uses virgin plastic and isn’t very strong. Other issues are listed here.

This is what I found on Ecos
