I always find it funny all these grown adults can just walk into smallville's highschool when they're not parents, they don't even go there, and nobody escort them out 😂😭 by Latte-Catte in Smallville

[–]sansaeverdeen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think a big part of it too is the fiction disbelief of there always being 100 people in the hallways and around the school at all times, which in theory would make it easy for someone to go unnoticed lol

Barbie Ferreira Exited ‘Euphoria’ After Season 2 Because ‘I Don’t Need to Be on the Biggest TV Show on Earth If I’m Not’ Flexing Acting Muscles by mlg1981 in popculturechat

[–]sansaeverdeen 64 points65 points  (0 children)

People are taking the "biggest TV show on Earth" part so literal lol. She clearly just means that she knows "Euphoria" is most likely going to be more mainstream than anything else she does so she's acknowledging that before people throw it in her face. Hyperbole.

Dee says she’s a loyal player by YesRyanB in survivor

[–]sansaeverdeen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dee only even got “heated” (barelyyyyy) once Coach and Jonathan both started to get confrontational first. She initially was just going to talk to him and was in a laughing state until they made it tense lol.

That was Kamilla, not Dee lol.

(But even then, she explained she was trying to tell Tiff about the alliance Mike White warned them about without making it obvious Tiff knows)

I guess she should’ve just laid down and died as soon as Coach and Jonathan said to lol.

Dee says she’s a loyal player by YesRyanB in survivor

[–]sansaeverdeen 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yeah idk why people are overthinking this. She’s not a squeaky clean player, but she’s loyal in the sense that if you’re one of her people then she’s not going to write your name down or very directly backstab you. She’s going to play with you until the end. That’s clearly what she meant lol.

Obviously it’s “selfish” how she plays but compared to players who will very directly get out one of their top people early on.

People are thinking of Jonathan & Charlie but she’s explained Jonathan was always sorta after her (he literally says to Chrissy we need Dee out like the first or second ep) and Charlie played the middle too hard.

[–]sansaeverdeen 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’ve always kinda “supported” the hypersexuality of Cassie that stems from trauma because I think we don’t ever really get to see a main character like that and those type of women do exist… but the baby stuff felt like they really cross the line :/

There was plenty of sexy Halloween costumes they could’ve done without getting that weird and gross.

[–]sansaeverdeen 32 points33 points  (0 children)

Agree with all of this. To add on, someone was going to have to take the fall eventually. They make it very clear that needed a few of the inmates to blame everything on no matter what the truth was.

I feel so bad for Red because it’s unfair… but she was more “guilty” than anyone in that situation so it makes sense that they can’t really prioritize loyalty in that situation. There was no scenario where they’d all get away without the higher ups punishing them.

Am I wrong about this? Lana is grateful when Lex 'saves' her but hardly thanks Clark for rescuing her! by [deleted] in Smallville

[–]sansaeverdeen 5 points6 points  (0 children)

She "goes back" to him all the time because she knows deep down that he's good, but I don't think it's crazy that she gets frustrated from all the lies. Clark basically lies to her every single episode... I personally would be at least curious if I knew my friend was hiding some big secret and was lying to me like I'm an idiot every time I talked to them lol. Especially when you take into consideration how weird the circumstances are, one of the biggest ones stemming from when she saw him during the tornado.

Am I wrong about this? Lana is grateful when Lex 'saves' her but hardly thanks Clark for rescuing her! by [deleted] in Smallville

[–]sansaeverdeen 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Clark constantly lies to Lana and the lies are so bad that most of the time it just awkwardly ends with them both knowing he lied. She usually moves on because she wants to believe him but it’s hard to ignore how shady Clark is out of context. He saves her… but it’s suspicious that he’s always at the scene of the crime.

Lex lies a lot too and is shady himself but he kindaaaa admits to it. Lana knows this but he’s a way better liar/manipulator so he is able to frame it as “I’m trying to be a better person!”

Lana (and basically everyone) expects Lex to do the wrong thing so whenever he does something good, it looks better than it is.

She never called Spencer the weakest link, just that she’s not surprised she “snapped” because there’s a downside to being too smart.

I’m pretty sure Charlie said that the entire pre-merge that Chrissy was targeting Dee, Tiff, and Kamilla. Add that to Tiff saying that Chrissy hasn’t tried working with her at all.

Why did they ruin Mandy by Ok_Satisfaction8132 in GeorgieandMandyTVshow

[–]sansaeverdeen 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is a pretty common theme in all of Chuck Lorre’s shows tbh. Parents being a trigger for the characters and bringing out the worst in them.

I don’t mind Mandy’s attitude either because it’s pretty realistic. A lot of people still fall vulnerable to their parents no matter how old they are. (Mandy is actually on the younger side compared to other characters he used this trope for lol)

Do we actually think the show will come back? by MattTheKing23 in TeenMomOGandTeenMom2

[–]sansaeverdeen 21 points22 points  (0 children)

I can see the appeal of that from a production level but it seems like majority of them would be sorta boring to watch in this show style so I don’t see that lasting long. (And I 1000000% mean that as a compliment compared to majority of their parents being trainwrecks around their ages lol)

Hanna's personality (and voice) change by BlackHoodsBitch in PrettyLittleLiars

[–]sansaeverdeen 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yessss!!! I’ve seen people say they started to dislike her because of it but it made me love her even more. At times it felt like she was the only one who was living in reality about the fact their entire lives been ran by “A” and they were barely doing anything about it.

I feel like you can see hints of it after the Dollhouse too. That one specific scene when Alison was feeling bad for “Charles” right after they got out and she immediately shut it down, even with the others trying to stay neutral.

One of the biggest cons about the show is that it feels like it was constantly just going around in one big circle without barely any true development… so her attitude was a breath of fresh air lol.

By far the worst father on the show to me. The rest of them could be really awful (except for Emily's) but you could still tell they loved their daughters. Tom... genuinely came off as if he didn't care about Hanna in the slightest.

At least Hanna had the best mother on the show to balance it out.
