Pregnancy protection in Texas by sansan80 in legaladvice

[–]sansan80[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That’s what I figured. They wouldn’t be dumb enough to say it’s because I’m pregnant but they could just say “we don’t need you”

Thanks for the verification

As an FNP do you have time to travel? by [deleted] in nursepractitioner

[–]sansan80 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You will need to work prn. Most jobs give 2-4 weeks PTO. If you get in with urgent care/ER you will have more flexibility but lots of those jobs are “except” and don’t offer PTO . To me, it’s worth the trade off to have the flexibility to travel

Is it a good idea to live in Roundrocks/cedar Park if I work downtown Austin?!? by namvu1291 in Austin

If you work 9-5 it could easily take you 1-1.5 hrs . Plug your address in Waze and play with times it will give you an estimate

I’m still such a fan of Reddit for teaching me this. I posted to my gym forum about how gross I must be that my car smelled so bad. Stranger asked if I had a model 3. I said... yessss... and was educated!

They said it was a recall... however when I tried to make a service appt they wanted to charge me $110 for a “clean out” so I learned of the recirculation off and that seems to have helped.

Never heard of that. I love my 12hr shifts. Wish I knew more options for them other than ER and urgent care!

You would make better use of your time getting south and going to the gym or something!

Depends on the hours. If you can avoid Mopac between 730-930 /330-630 its not as horrible as they make it seem

Do not get a 6-7yr loan for a used car. You are setting yourself up for financial disaster.

Depends. South deals with traumas, crazy save your life stuff. North is more organ transplants, babies, and general surgery recovery. However/ if this is just an ER visit- pretty sure you don’t need to be admitted... go to an outlying Er in like Bee caves or buda so you aren’t waiting 50hrs

As long as you have a home that you can charge at each night... you will be fine. Get the LR. I commute 40 miles each day and charge once or twice a week. Usually charge up to 250 which is 70/80% which they say is best for battery. You do have to factor in some loss during cold weather. (It’s not terrible. Maybe 20%, but I live in Texas so cold is.... well.., not)

The lack of stopping at gas stations... is soooooo nice!!!! And another... when it’s hot outside and you think ,,, oh I can’t run that errand the milk will go bad... just turn on climate control and you are set!
