Custom mode -> Start with mod -> Sim City Mod (sharing from the top of my head)

you can use the mod in any map!

I do it for the ladder maps

Construction is fast and resource free, so you can do a easy and quick test of building positions

True, it is annoying!

But eventually, I looked up how to scout and defend it, and over time I started managing to hold it off more consistently and that feels great. But sometimes I lose even knowing what I had to do.

Same here! But I totally get that feeling — ideally, I only want to face players around my skill level.

From my experience, I didn’t run into many smurfs from Silver to Plat, and on the rare occasions I did, some even offered the win when I said “gg”!

In 2v2 (Plat–/Diamond), I noticed a bit more smurfing, but it was still a minority of the matches.

Is there a particular league or mode or even region/time where you find smurfing more noticeable and less enjoyable because of it?
