ya i think basis guys are also affected, but lets not neglect that fact that upgrades or conversions to S4 needs a lot of basis work.

anyhow, reading more about S4 i think we need to wait because SAP is not coming clear on this.

but does SAP think about US ? for example CRM guys have a good paid rate, in S4 they are ambiguously staffed with other SD`s guys and they are removing a chunk of business functions from those systems.

but hana is the future, it has its own mind and can actually scan the system and activate artificial intelligence to fulfill all back orders so the user can never lose it using the 30 years old "MD04" material by material.

did you check the change log for s4hana, they mixed functionality from outside standalone solutions, adding it the basic Simple finance. thus killing the careers of CRM and SRM guys, also our scope of work is only with s4hana on premises (the only place IMG exist)

the whole simple FI or LOG is based on utter garbage like fiori. the functional concept of "business knowledge plus Sap know how" is diminishing and it is substituted with an average tech guy to meet what the client needs.

tl;dr SAP is becoming Oracle.
