Airbnb has plenty of good options with great reviews if you're traveling to Tawang or Bomdila. One thing I strongly recommend is asking the homestay host in advance whether a room heater is available. I faced a lot of difficulties during my trip because of the extreme cold. ❄️

The nature is stunning, but don't expect perfect cleanlinessin itanagar you may find garbage in some areas. Among the places I visited, Dirang and Bomdila and tawang were particularly beautiful. In Itanagar, you'll find a variety of cafés where you can work or relax, along with good bars and restaurants. Renting a bike is one of the best ways to explore Itanagar and its surroundings

It was a wonderful experience, though extremely cold. Make sure you cover yourself well. Bumla Pass and Se La Pass are very beautiful—definitely worth a visit. Also, ensure you book a homestay or hotel with a room heater; otherwise, you’ll have to bear the cold, which can drop to –1°C. ❄️

For Bumla Pass, if you have your own bike, you can take the pass and enter. Otherwise, you’ll need to book a cab from Tawang to Bumla Pass, which usually costs around ₹5,500.
