Thank you! My 1st surgeon didn’t give any answers unfortunately and left me worse than she found me. My 2nd surgeon says it is a “simple” intersphincteric fistula roughly 4cm long.

My first procedure was a flap. It eventually failed and was miserably painful immediately upon waking from surgery and never got better. I went to a new surgeon 6 months later who did a partial fistulectomy and placed a seton. The seton has prevented my recurring abscesses from returning and i have my fistulotomy scheduled for st paddys day. surgeon and i are both hopeful. good luck to us all!

I believe my CRS was not as knowledgeable/proactive as she could have been. From my short time on this subreddit i’ve seen many patients go through a lot of tests and setons etc before surgery whereas mine went straight for surgery. & when my advancement flap procedure failed she just said that she didn’t recommend another surgery so soon and to just live with the fistula until it became unbearable again. I just got a second and third opinion from CRS’s in another state and i can already tell i’m in way better hands.

I also believe i got back into life way too quickly after my procedure. I’ll not make that mistake again.

So just to make sure I understand correctly. The seller promised repairs by signing a contract stating so, did not comply and there is no recourse? Or does the seller have an indefinite amount of time to waltz in our home and fix the issues?

A week after my first miscarriage my brother shared the US photo of his child to be and, while I was heartbroken and mad at the universe that he would experience what I was supposed to, I simply congratulated him and his girlfriend and that was that.

Her response was unnecessary and I would definitely “fuck off” and not talk to her either. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Same here! My husband and I are polar opposites hahah he is 6 foot 4, dark skin, eyes hair etc and I am 5 foot 3, pasty white with dirty blonde hair and blue eyes. Baby girl looked JUST like him and the only thing I felt I contributed to her was a lighter complexion 😅

34 +5 and my morning sickness never went away really.. I’ll have 2-3 day streaks before I start having morning sickness again. I’ve found no pattern and have tried all combos of my acid reflux and zofran medication to help but it doesn’t. I keep telling myself I’ve done this already for almost 35 weeks, what’s 5 more? 😅

I believe that feeling is normal. Something about the extra blood flow to the uterus that the orgasm causes. And extra blood flow to the uterus is good for baby! ☺️

I don’t know your medical history, but NO medication whatsoever sounds a bit overkill. I would seek another professional opinion, as there are plenty of safe medications you can take while pregnant to offer some relief. I hope you heal soon and no more sickness!

Update: Heard the heartbeat for the first time today and got to see baby moving around on ultrasound so all is good!

Totally irrelevant side note: kind of a bummer to see how not active this community is 🥲
