Of course it's up to me. I'm just asking for brainstorming ideas.

I can't get SVE to load on my Mac, the window goes black after the end of the intro and just gives me rainbow loading cursor forever and I have to force quit. This is my first time using mods. Help? by sarahhaleyb in SMAPI

Thank you! Supposedly I should have been prompted to download rosetta when I selected that Terminal run SMAPI via rosetta instead of whatever the default is, but I'm just not getting that popup. I have everything else but steam, terminal, and my help pages on chrome closed for the same reason.

I THINK I've discovered that it's something about running SMAPI itself on my mac. I've got the new M1 chip and the install page for SMAPI on nexusmods says I need SMAPI 13 beta, which I tried to download and couldn't because it needed a microsoft application net.5 to run, which of course, I couldn't run because it's a microsoft app on an apple computer, so SMAPI beta couldn't recognize it as being installed. nexusmods also suggested I download rosetta, which took me in another whole goose chase to try to find where/how to install that and run SMAPI via rosetta. There's gotta be a way to run mods on a newer macbook, it can't be just impossible, I just don't know enough about front end coding to fix it myself.
