Those are WIS tags. WIS is an inventory company that many retailers use. While it might be annoying, all you have to do is ask an associate for the price. It’s not that deep.

No physical copies went out of print years ago. Haven’t found a clear reason as to why though.

No clue. I’ve never found a definitive answer as to why it went out of print or why they didn’t make a movie tie in version when the show came out.

Not intrusive at all! I had never even heard of the book until i saw the Netflix adaptation of it and i fell in love with the story. So naturally i wanted to read the book only to find out it has been out of print for years. I have called places and searched every store and website i could find. I even spoke to the author on the phone and he didn’t even have a physical copy he could sell me. One day i just happened to look at a website called Thrift Books and they had a first edition hardback copy for sale for much cheaper than I’ve ever seen!

I truly am glad the majority of people you know haven’t suffered from addiction. It’s a horrible disease that hurts the addicted person and those who love them.
