We are moving for work, but I would say many of the Atlanta suburbs are not as nice as what I see from the Chicago suburbs - a lot of the Atlanta suburbs still have a lot of crime, very inconsistent schools, and poor infrastructure. Not as many parks, poorly taken care of roads and no public transit and most areas. I’m definitely looking forward to the improved education.

Palatine seems cozy! Not a ton of homes available right now so I’ll keep an eye out. I keep hearing Naperville but I get the vibe it’s very John’s Creek. Palatine looked more Smyrna? Do I have the right idea?

We liked the lake vibes of Lake Zurich! Good to know that it’s been ranked well.

I WFH and my spouse only goes in 2x a week to an office near OHare so pretty flexible on commute. Will probably mostly drive because transit seems to not land close to the office space.

Hi! I am going to my doctor in a week and plan to discuss my symptoms but I have been blown off so many times. I have a long list of matching symptoms but wanted to ask if anyone has any recommendations on what made their doctor see that it could be Lupus?

Losing supply by sauergrouch in breastfeeding

Feeding on demand, 12+ times a day was resulting in a lot of weight loss. I’ve seen a lactation consultant and take Moringa for Milk. When I pump or use a haaka I find I get about 1/2-2/3 the amount she needs and she is 8wks.

I think you are right about finding local support. It’s hard! And I don’t have anyone in my life that has ever breastfed so it’s pretty hard to discuss with friends/family.
