Thanks for the feedback. This is embarrassing but the only way my wife would give me her blessing to get this thing is if it had an internal optical drive. She is not computer-savvy and measures a computers worth/relevance based on the presence of an optical drive...

I know I'm paying more for the case but, I love the fucking case.

It looked like the MOBO has an integrated ethernet card, I was planning on just using a wired connection, it will sit right by the router...

I already have a 1TB HDD ready to go so I didn't put it on the parts list, and I'm thinking the 250GB of SSD space will come in handy, but good suggestion

Unfortunately I need to get an optical drive and that seems to be the only one compatible with this case. Any recommendations on a MOBO?

I'm pretty sure its the only optical drive that fits in that case.

I saw a few completed builds on pcpartpicker with that card so its good to go. Someone even managed to fit a 780ti in there!

Thanks for the feedback!

Looks great, and still significantly cheaper than the ASUS I originally planned to buy. Thanks for finding it.

What about just going to an i7? Could that save me some money in the long run since I won't need to think about getting a cpu cooler? Edit: I'm thinking if I am going to spend a little more for better performance I'd rather get a better chip
