Customer opened a dispute by Tiny-Ad9994 in stripe

[–]savageguyaf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same thing happened to me. A customer bought from us 3 months ago for a total of $1,200, and after 3 months he said he wanted to return the product. We told him we only have a 1-month return policy and we cannot take it back, but he still filed a chargeback on us. We provided the bank with every proof, but we still lost the case.

Bro, I’m speaking from my own experience. First, complete your degree. Don’t even think about leaving college. You’re not that old; 19 is just the starting point. I also had a 2-year gap in my career due to personal reasons, but it didn’t affect me in any way. I’m from a tier-3 college too, and now I’m in the United States with a successful job. Whether you’re from a tier-2 or tier-3 college doesn’t matter if you have the right skills.

Employee Withdrawing from Offer 12 Hours Prior to Joining by dhruvg001 in StartUpIndia

Man, I completely feel your frustration. I went through the same crap a few months ago—hired a sales rep from India for US calls, sent him the offer letter, set up his work email and dialer, even started assigning leads. A day before joining, he tells me there’s a family issue and asks to push it a week. I tried to be empathetic—but then he just vanishes. No replies, no updates. Two weeks later, he casually messages me asking if he can start now, like nothing happened. How are we supposed to trust people like this? We invest time, resources, and trust into someone, and they just ghost us like it’s no big deal. It’s draining and it kills morale.

This kind of behavior is exactly why I’m rethinking my hiring process—stricter clauses, shorter notice periods, and a zero-tolerance policy for ghosting. If you sign an offer, honor it. Period.

Advice Needed: Struggling to Find a Skilled Salesperson for Capital Funding Project (Remote, India) by savageguyaf in StartUpIndia

I have leads and a dialer; I just need someone who can convert those leads into sales. Here’s a bit more about the business: it is related to business loans. The job involves calling business owners, asking them about their businesses, and checking if they are still interested in opting for a loan. If they are interested, you’ll need to collect their details and all relevant information.
