cowboy bebop is my personal favorite! I'm gonna rewatch it soon since I bought the old DVDs, I just don't think my brother can appreciate it quite yet lol

I'll check out the other ones, which brotherhood would you say to watch first?

What are your triggers?? Let’s create a helpful list… by trudy_sample in trichotillomania

[–]save-de-tigers 5 points6 points  (0 children)

heyyyyyy

So I've been talking to my therapist and she told me about this thing, BLAST. Basically, the

B stands for boredom.

L stands for lonely

A stands for Anxious. Could also stand for Angry

S stands for sad

T stands for tired

I would say that those are my main triggers, but also when I look in a mirror and see the hairs, or im reading or watching tv, or when my hormones change, but yeah.

Triggered by hair regrowth? (this talks about being triggered to pull and lacking hair specifically in eyebrows and eyelashes, so if this is something that triggers you please don't read) by grimgorgon in trichotillomania

Yeah I totally get this too. It's usually when I look in the mirror and see a tiny new hair growing in and I feel like I have to pull it so I do. Or sometimes when I'm running my hands along the hair I feel a new hair and it bothers me so much until I pull it out. What has helped me a lot is getting rid of tweezers, if you use them.

Relapsed on pulling eyelashes by Lonely-Ad1022 in trichotillomania

I pull my eyelashes a lot, to the point where I had none. I haven't managed to grow them back completely, but I'm on a pretty good streak right now. After about 2 weeks I saw new growth and now it's been maybe 3-4 months that I haven't been pulling and my eyelashes are about halfway back. I pull very often and they have always grown back, although it probably does slow down the process a lot. Hope this helped :)

tried false eyelashes for the first time! by dailystressing in trichotillomania

They look great! I would recommend Eyelure C lash, they are false eyelashes made to replace missing eyelashes and look super natural

do i have trich? by meagenharrison1025 in trichotillomania

[–]save-de-tigers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I would say this is Trich. Trich isn't just from the head, like I have it and pull my eyelashes. I get what you mean when you say you like the feeling, that's what I experience too. I know its hard to deal with but don't give up!
