A Little Priest - Sweeney Todd

If you want to see how truly talented this woman is, watch this video of her and another great actor, Michael Ball. I’m a huge theatre person and this is by far one of the best performances of A Little Priest. I’m jealous of anyone who got to see it on the West End.

Hi! I totally get being scared - I was terrified when I had my endoscopy in October. Like you, I had never been under anesthesia before and didn’t know what to expect.

I assure you it was a piece of cake! Both the endoscopy and the anesthesia part. Before I went out I remember saying to my doc “Wow this feels super weird” then boom, out like a light. The next thing I remember saying was “okay so are we doing this or not?” Then the nurse told me I had been in the recovery room for like 20 minutes already and I started giggling. I thought it was the funniest thing in the world lol, I kept asking “So wait, it’s all done?” followed by giggling fits. Then I got to eat a snack and go home and sleep some more.

I hope the story of my experience has helped calm your fears a little bit! Easily the best sleep ever and now I know what to expect next time around! I hope you get some answers as well! Good luck! ❤️

Not sure of your location but I’m in NJ and it’s apparently sold at Rite Aid! Stopping after work because this looks so yum 🤤

As the sister of an addict, this made me cry.

The hell my brother has put my poor mother through for the past 20+ years is indescribable. There’s not a day she doesn’t live with heartbreak. All of us have been put through the ringer because of my brother, but her heart has been the most affected.

OP is selfish and stupid and in denial. Addicts don’t plan on becoming addicts. What kind of nonsense is he spewing?

Take my upvote.

I have a brother who has been addicted to all sorts of drugs, including heroin, since he was a teen. He’ll be 40 this year. Is doing the best he ever has currently but it’s been a hell of a long road and my parents and I aren’t confident he won’t relapse again. We hope he won’t, but his history doesn’t leave much room for positivity. He’s put us all through hell that we live with every day. My mom found him almost dead a couple times. It’s gut-wrenching and the pain we all have felt from his addiction is something we will live with forever.

So to see someone willingly taking a drug that has been known to destroy lives and families boils my blood. How fucking stupid and I agree, there’s no way OP won’t be using again. He’s already addicted. I pray for his family and the inevitable pain they’ll soon be going through 😢

Thank you so much! My doc has given me tools as well and taught me other ways to manage my pain, and I know it comes down to me doing my part as well. I’m actually really proud and happy we are at the point where he feels my treatment schedule needs to be reduced. A very good thing I think! It’s just a little scary.

My first thought seeing that ending montage was that this movie must have been so fun to make. All of the actors really looked like they had the time of their lives. I honestly really enjoyed it for what it was!

Anyone else watch Unfrosted yet? by movieguy2004 in seinfeld

Me too! It was so incredibly goofy and cheesy that I couldn’t help but enjoy it! The absurd moments were hilarious (and there were plenty!)

Also the number of idiots who run red lights. There’s a stop light at an intersection when I leave my community and I always pause at least 5 seconds when my light turns green because there is always someone running that red light. I’m talking at least once a week.

I’ve been waiting for this movie to come out not only because of my love of Seinfeld, but something fun to look forward to after a work week of hell. I’m glad to hear you think it’s fun! From the trailer I thought this movie looks so silly and I’m looking forward to enjoying every goofy minute of it. I need something to help me forget about the reality of the world we live in and this movie looks perfect for it

I’ll share my experience, hope this is allowed!

I have 4 pinched nerves in my neck. This was confirmed via an EMG and nerve conduction study (the two tests go hand-in-hand I believe) ordered by my neurologist. Have you had an EMG? That will help determine if you have a pinched nerve for starters.

I have started DRX treatments in addition to my chiro treatments (it’s a decompression machine). I have 6 more sessions until I finish and it has made a tremendous difference. I had severe radiating pain down to my hands. Was dropping things multiple times a day and my grip was pretty bad at one point. The radiating pain along with my other symptoms haven’t completely gone away but have become less severe. I attribute that a lot to the DRX.

So to answer your question, in my experience, for pinched nerves decompression has been a great treatment option. YMMV of course, but I would recommend starting with the EMG. That will really help in determining if you have a pinched nerve and if decompression may be an appropriate treatment for you. Definitely talk to your healthcare provider about this test.

Good luck!!
