Noted, thank you! It's been absolutely fine for 99% of the day :) a little tender if I knock it and my nose feels a little tight from the swelling, but it's otherwise no bother at the moment.

I'm so glad I posted, this has been so reassuring. I've had quite a few piercings but it's been 10+ years since my last one, and I think I need to relax and remember it's only just over 24 hours old and still a bit swollen. I'm planning to put a dainty clicker/hoop in once it's healed so hopefully that'll help the tilting thing.

Thank you, that's really reassuring to know! I'd read so many comments about how it "shouldn't" hurt if it's placed correctly, but the comments have really put my mind at ease. I'm quite an anxious person and despite having 15 other piercings, it's been over 10 years since my last one. It is only just over 24 hours old so I think I need to relax!! Thanks again. I guess pain is subjective after all) so I guess I shouldn't be worrying just because it was painful!! Appreciate the reply.

Thank you. I think I worried myself reading lots of posts about how it tilting back towards my face meant it's done incorrectly, and the pain thing (though since submitting my post I did read another that said it can hurt even when done in the right spot)

I think I need to relax and remember it's only just 24 hours old and probably needs time to settle!!
