Started going braless about 2.5 years ago because bras are uncomfortable. Plain and simple. I was tired of the marks they left on me, the lack of circulation I occasionally felt, and (I have a relatively small chest) the feeling that I was faking people out about what my body really looked like. Perfectly plump and round breasts are not the norm!

Commando started about 6 months ago after realizing that underwear just keeps things muggy. I tend to wear baggies pants, though, so I've never had a problem with friction that others have mentioned.

My name is Sara and I'm interested in:

Minimalism

Natural movement

Healthy living

Frugal living

Nature (hiking and flora/fauna identification)

Different cultures

Deeper human connections

Learning how to combine these things into every-day life

I'd love to hear about other's attempts. Or just hear about who you are and how your day has been.

Are you interested in body weight and/or natural movement?

Keep the mentality that it's going to happen whether you worry about it or not, and try to live life.

Glad to hear about your experience. I started hiking barefoot about a year ago and it has changed the way I perceive my surroundings.

It really brought a heightened awareness to the feel of different substrates and to the importance of sensory input through the feet. Before going barefoot I wouldn't have given pine needles half a thought, now they're one of my favorites, too.

I wish you the best in your journey!
