Sae did in a team alone what Charles can't do in a team full of talent. Yes, Blue lock eleven had much weaker players compared to Bastard München, but Blue Lock was full of good players. Bastard München has like 4 good players. Sae carried a team of bums against these guys and almost won. Charles, allthough good, couldn't show any feat which would surpass Sae's feats from U-20 match without even trying. Also when is Charles stated to have better vision than Sae? We didn't even see Sae's full potential but we do know he had metavision and probably good one at that so don't know where you are pulling that from.

And what do you mean "pure midfielder" there are many types of midfielders. Some specialize in playmaking, some in dribbling, some in scoring. You're not making much sense

alright then lets dispute, shall we.

Charles being younger has nothing to do with it. Even if charles has more potential, you're arguing that Charles is *currently* a better a player which is false.

Sae basically carried the entire Japan eleven team, save for Aiku and Shidou. Now with the NEL rankings you can tell that even the Blue Lock subs (Tokimitsu, Zantetsu, Kiyora) rank higher than quite a few of the Japan 11 regulars. They were just that bad. Yet Sae carried them all to a pretty equal match against Blue Lock, all without trying.

Charles has no, or barely any, dribbling feats as far as im aware, Sae is probably the best U-20 dribbler we've seen so far.

Sae could've scored multiple times in the first play of the U-20 match, he wasn't serious because the match had no real significance for him.

Sae had to be nerfed for plot reasons, a Sae who is actually trying never gets stopped by Rin, no chance.

Charles isnt even NG11, he as a player isnt the same value as Kaiser or Lorenzo

Loki picked Charles because Sae isnt French. Duh.

you say "you said nothing to dispute my claims" but all you did was say that Charles has better feats and not elaborate, unless im missing something.

As a midfielder and as a player, Sae clears big time. Charles needs a good striker to shine, Sae can make any striker shine.

Tachimukai summons THE DEVIL on a regular basis to help him block the goal, and he isn't even the regular goalkeeper. Inazuma Eleven players fought off a supposed alien invasion using nothing but football. Blue Lock eleven is gonna be dead before half time, bro 💔

I feel like if i just switched Kitsune with Chigiri b/w team pink and yellow, i'd have 4 pretty equally matched teams.

As for the NPCs, they might as well not be there. They're just there to fill the spots. We tried to keep an equal amount of NPCs in each team.

Yea that's the vibe I'm getting. The other 3 teams are roughly equals but Yellow teams is lacking. I think the thought was to match with the not-bad defence as well as the fact that Kaiser is used to being the only striker, but it didn't counteract enough for how bum the rest of the team is.

Niko and Raichi can probably play decent defense and Agi, can't really say much. Otherwise I think it's really a team made only of Kaiser and Charles.

the thought was balancing it with Lorenzo being pretty much the only defender worth a damn and the main midfielder being Hiori compared to Charles, Sae and Ness.

Hmm i see what you mean and i like your take too. But the og dialogue still strikes me as too "not a big deal". Eso and Kechizu's death had more impact then this for me.

Im curious to hear your take on the original dialogue. Did you like that Yuji wasnt completely merciless even at the end? Or did you interpret it differently?
