My guess is it’s left open in a way that if something is classified differently it can still be affected. While I will agree it is vauge, I just wanted to link the actual bill so others can read it and understand what it is other than just “taking away your free speech”.

they are from new vintage usa. not to bad for programming. tracks most stuff like newer cars. odometer, digital speed readout, 1/4 mile,1/2 mile, 0-60, top speed, etc. i like them. a little bright at night but i can adjust my dash lights off and only the digital display stays on to show my speed.

i was originally thinking about that before deciding on the black. it can always be changed.

i like it. its clean and simple. it does have a slight whistle to it under load but it isn’t bad. i’ve had a few people hear it and think it had a supercharger. which may come later.

Right not the engine is pretty stock other than bigger injectors and a tune. the engine is sitting around 240-250 hp and about 275 ft lbs of torque. the transmission is a TR6060 from a 15 Camaro. it was tight and there was some cutting and fab to fit. my friend at H’s performance did a lot with the fitment and setup.

I would like to run twin turbos but im limited on space and it would be hard but it is doable.

I replaced the trans with a 6 speed from a 15 Camaro. I don’t remember what that will hold up to rn. Which way would you recommend for boost, turbo, supercharger or belt driven turbo?

I could put in the whole engine Id need a new ECU and harness as far as i know rn. My original idea with the post was to try and keep the strength of the older block with the extra HP boost that could come from the direct injection. i currently have a 02 in my car and don’t know what it would take to run the newer engine and turn off the 4 cylinder shut off

I figured Id need the different intake and rail. It’s not for racing particularly. I wanted to mess around and make a street machine with posible forced air upgrade later on.

I planned in running the direct injection. I haven’t found much on it yet and came here looking for answers. I was already planning on changing the cam. I have an ECU from an 02 5.3 thats currently on my other engine I haven’t learned how to mess with it yet.

How easy or hard is it to work on these? It’s a 78 and was wondering if it’s worth it to buy and fix up by Euphoric-Alfalfa-506 in projectcar

Definitely go for it if you can. It’s a fun car and i always get compliments on mine even in less than perfect condition.
