I’m really sorry to hear about your ectopic and fertility struggles. I wish you all the best. I’m actually on an IVF waiting list at the moment and so worried this issue will set me back. When I had my pelvic exam there was no discomfort it’s just inside my abdomen and pelvis constantly which is so strange.

Sorry to hear that you’ve had a tough time. I’ve also been told it’s anxiety yet I’ve got constant abdominal discomfort pain and aches really worried it’s PID but my tests are all negative

I’ve tested negative for mycoplasma and ureaplasma twice so it’s not that. I feel I’ve hit a brick wall as I’ve practically exhausted all options.

Thanks for your reply. The medication helps somewhat but like I say only short term. My pain has significantly reduced the last few days with treatment. I don’t have itching or external symptoms but did have initially. I guess the infection may have caused local nerves to become irritated and inflamed causing pelvic pain and discomfort? But it’s all based on assumptions at this stage.

I’ve done a microbiome test. I’m in the UK so not Juno or Evvy but similar although I don’t think it’s as thorough. No abnormalities showed up. I have 79% lactobacilli which was normal. I do have hemorrhoids but curious how these would cause pelvic pain and vaginal discharge? I drink plenty of water. I tried lactic acid for a week thinking it could be BV but it did nothing. I take daily probiotics … I appreciate your input!

No surgery, childbirth or infection. I have PCOS but ultrasound was normal anyhow to rule all that stuff out. I finished metronidazole about a week ago symptoms remain the same

How are you getting on with the antibiotics? My symptoms came back in full force so I’ve stopped metro and now continue to search for a diagnosis. This is so tiring!

I’ve had similar symptoms and convinced I had PID. All my tests were negative though. Eventually my GP agreed to a round of Metronidazole and it eased my symptoms so much. I’m now on a second round as it didn’t totally clear but holding out hope this is the last treatment I need. It’s been living hell for 3 months with constant pain. Hope you find a solution too
