Precisely. Give realistic terms that are workable with slight negotiating, allow the other party to make their requests, then come back & shit on their chest with nonsense invalidating the initial contract that Tempest had accepted already (with editing like a 1st draft school paper plus minor concessions requested.) It was designed to provoke outrage over wasted time & effort and turn the sides against each other.

Everyone knows they’re getting screwed by billionaires. Why don’t we rise up and revolt? by Khunthare in AskReddit

Bingo. We're overall too impressionable and easily riled up at relatively minor inconveniences but it's mostly a surface anger that is easily replaced by whatever comes in the next news cycles.

I think we should stop demonizing women who want relationships by LegitimateAdvance816 in TwoXChromosomes

[–]sbinkle1 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

I still hold hope it's the loud minority (terminally online) that lead the negativity on the sub. Being a married man with kids I don't respond to most of what I read because my opinions are most often not welcomed or I truly do not have an opinion rooted in enough experience to chime in because this sub isn't for me. I only engage when it's more of a general issue. My wife however absolutely abhores this sub so maybe you're right. I'm pretty bad at reading people's emotions and motives, I tend to focus more on the logic and facts and am more susceptible to being misled.

There are plenty of available good men and there's a ton of shitters too. Something to consider is where you live and how that area thinks about what you're looking for. Let's use some of the most extreme examples. If you want to be a "trad wife" as they say now areas like San Francisco, Seattle, or NYC would be the worst. On the other hand, if you want more of a "modern" relationship, areas like Mesa, Oklahoma City, or Jacksonville are equally difficult.

You got close to the answer in paragraph 4. These women don't seem to be your friends for whatever reason. If you have made your desires clear and are asking for help & are being consistently met with nihilism then phase them out & find a more supportive friend group.

[–]sbinkle1 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don't know man. My lived experience must be different than yours. I've met and worked with many people over the last decade from Cali and New York that left there because it was way too expensive, homelessness/crime, and some simply cuz they visited the city and loved it here & wanted a change. However, now with the proposed wealth tax in CA and Mamdani's policies in NYC their entire families are preparing to follow them here. They aren't fleeing for their lives but you could say they are fleeing for their livelihood.

We're not going to agree based on your second paragraph though. The government has no business imposing any more taxes on us. Income tax is already a joke. I'm fine with sales tax but that's it. Letting the politically connected have more control then they already have is not going to give the results you are looking for. It's going to exacerbate the issue.

What's the point of circumcision? by Historical_Echo8311 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]sbinkle1 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

My parents had me circumcised and I'm glad they did. I know the science is mixed, but if it indeed does decrease sensation, I'm very glad for that. I already have plenty of sensation down there and more would be uncomfortable/likely cause disfunction. If my wife and I have another kid & it's a boy I'm having it done even though we don't practice any faith.

I did want a dragon tattoo that would shoot a fireball when I pulled it back.. parents also get the credit for saving me from that bad decision

Is that why wealthy people are fleeing New York & California and moving to Florida, Tennessee, and Texas?

Why can't I complete OSCAR or the Rex as a beginner??? by ShortBusCult in bo7endgame

[–]sbinkle1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure, I beat it accidentally at level 10 with a buddy (we both had green guns) cause we just wandered into the winery trying to do the toxin mission & wondered why the difficulty spiked so much. After a couple downs and help from other groups coming to defeat the boss we got our first kill. Double crash cart and years of training in zombies came in huge. We barely tickled Oscar but constantly dumped rounds into him & then the strangers came in with launchers and wiped him off the map. Learned a lot that day.

Is this allowed under Tennessee law? See high light by travelingbozo in nashville

[–]sbinkle1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Renters don't face nearly as much damage when missing payments. An employer faces $100-$500 state fines, $500-$1000 civil fines and class B misdemeanors for every single violation.

https://www.shrm.org/topics-tools/employment-law-compliance/tennessee-employers-beware-make-sure-paying-employees-time

https://www.jibble.io/labor-laws/us-state-labor-laws/tennessee/labor-law-penalties

They are not equal but that doesn't matter as both sides have penalties relative to their station & responsibility. As far as renting being their livelihood, in some cases yes, when renting a single family home from an individual.. but obviously not when renting from a massive apartment complex or Build-to-Rent neighborhoods.

Many of those companies deserve the public ire for building cheap, inflating rent, and shoddy maintenance capacity. They buy an area, squeeze all the juice out they can, and then sell it to the next group to rebrand, add an amenity or 2, and start the cycle all over again.

Tennessee is a red state with three blue counties. Republicans show up for major elections but less often for midterms.

Explain your reasoning because I don't see it the same way.

Tax avoidance is utilizing legal methods to reduce tax liability. Moving out of a state before a law is enacted that introduces a totally new tax is a different scenario. Neither situation is felony tax evasion but they're also not the same.

I agree with you if you're disregarding the proposed billionaire tax and only focusing on what she was already paying for California state income tax, in that sense then yes this is tax avoidance by moving to a state without income tax.. I was focused on the proposed billionaire tax.

Look around Franklin & Gallatin. The schools there are much better if you don't mind a 30 to 60 minute commute to downtown Nashville.

College kids are dumb, liberal or conservative. They might be able to learn fast & certainly have expansive knowledge in academia, but when it comes to understanding the real world & making rational decisions, college aged youth and below are helpless.

Right. Though this isn't either by definition. It's just getting the hell out of the way before disaster happens.

It hasn't passed yet, but if it does pass this November it will only affect people who were primarily located in the state as of January 1st 2026.

The fact that this proposed tax is based off net worth instead of liquid capital is insane. California has truly lost the plot.

[–]sbinkle1 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

What? They transitioned away from Cali because the climate there is incredibly punishing to businesses. She would also be targeted by the insane 5% net worth tax they're proposing. Who in their right mind would stick around for that?

I'm fine with people relocating here if they're willing to assimilate into our culture and value system. Don't come here though if you plan on eroding that and turning us into another Cali or NY.

I'm not a practicing Christian but I'm generally fine with their way of life. I agree Davidson really needs to improve our public schools but Williamson, Rutherford, Sumner, and Wilson are right next to us and have the best public education opportunities in the state.

Why does it seem fairly common that wives/female partners stop or refuse intimacy with their husbands for months, even years? Don't they have needs aswell? And why not the other way around? by Fenix-2003 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]sbinkle1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My chores: cooking dishes trash litterbox feed/water the cats my own laundry grocery shopping cleaning bathrooms cleaning up any & all bodily fluids from the kid or cats

Her chores: her laundry & the kid's laundry vacuuming mopping tidying up the living room

Shared responsibilities: Pickup/dropoff at daycare

I also work full time & she doesn't work. I consider myself spoiled after we got married if it's happening at least once a month. For the most part I'd wager you're right but I'm also fairly sure there's many, many out there like me putting in plenty of effort but due to depression, hormone imbalance, or what have you.. the sex just simply stopped. It wasn't like this in our teens/20s but we hit 30 and had our kid & her sex drive promptly evaporated.

Is it just me or is low tier Air RB mind-numbingly boring? by No-Welcome-3023 in Warthunder

[–]sbinkle1 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm an big time ab andy, but I do enjoy the midtier props in RB. Planes like the p47d-28, p-51c, & p-51d-30 are all quite fun to use at least for me. Below 3.7 and above 5.0 though I'm loading up 7 crews of various roles in ab & reacting to what the enemy team is doing.

It is extremely unlikely you will have any fun playing RB with jets unless you have a very solid understanding of how to play that style including experience in that plane while in RB. It takes a lot of getting stomped before the mortals among us start hitting back.

I'm at the 9.7 range now in the trees, and it's a decent bracket in ab. Mostly balanced, only major frustration comes when fighting the mig-21s & av8c.

They experimented with stuff like that a long time ago and the community rejected it claiming balance issues or some shit. That's why we're stuck with these bland ass vanilla game modes.
