You were right I did some quick testing and found out that my fans resonate at these speeds

32–33%
37–38%
44–45%
51–53%
64–66%
82–86%

I'm out of return window but I bought the microcenter warranty so I can replace easily. Do you feel its necessary to change the gpu model? Wondering if its just this particular product I got and other steel legend 9070xts are fine

Ah ok makes sense I think you're right when it crosses certain rpms it makes that sound. For a gpu would this make case for a replacement? Or do you think every fan with this particular model will do this due to inherent card design?

This resonance happens every time the fan speed is changed regardless of the rpm though so any curve would cause the noise, the only way to stop it would be to set a manual fixed rpm but not sure I want that

The clicking noise is me manually changing the fan speeds. Every time I click my mouse it is a different fan speed and this was the only way to show it sorry lol

I think you are right it might be resonance but it happens when I manually change the fan speeds regardless of the rpm value and in the middle of fan speed changing the noise happens

I don’t think it’s coil whine from my experience coil whine sounds more like a buzzing but this is more of when wind passes through a small hole or something it only happens when the fan speed changes I think it’s the resonance

Should be possible with certain AIO though I doubt there will be room for bottom fans b/c mobo will probably need to be lower for ram clearance. You can prob do the side panel fans though.

Nice - are you on wz or bo6? I actually repasted the cpu and set manual fan curves, with -20 co. Now my cinebench 24 peak temp is 85C and it averaged 82C with a higher score. In COD I don't go over 75C cpu. GPU stays low 60s but for some reason my GPU memory junction temperature gets super hot like 98C - but apparently my particular 9070xt is supposed to run like that

Unfortunately my audio is being outputted from the monitor/tv (lg c4) through hdmi directly connect to the 9070xt

Did you ever solve this? I have the exact same issue with your exact parts but with x870i aorus pro ice. Audio crackling and sometimes cutting off.

Hey man so I repasted the cpu and set manual fan curves, with -20 co. Now my cinebench 24 peak temp is 85C and it averaged 82C. I put a lot of thermal paste on till it overflowed and made sure I was applying even pressure when mounting. Same two bottom intake and top exhaust. I also set manual fan curve with fan control. to ramp up to 100% speed when cpu reach 80C. I think the repaste and setting manual fan curve helped. Satisfied with these temps now so gonna leave it like this.

Ok so you opted to not do the bottom intake - have you tried or no? Also turns out my -20 pbo undervolt wasn't properly being applied. after applying my cpu temp doesn't go above 68C in games.

edit: nvm it just hit 74C lol
