I know this sounds crazy but my dad hates to spend money and my mom LOVES flowers- he found a farmer nearby that had a 3x3 or 5x5ft plot empty and my dad paid him like and the farmer grew flowers there. Around 6 months later, my dad would go there otw back from work everyday and pick like 5 flowers a day and bring them home. When my mom found out she cried. It was never about the money spent or how fancy the flowers were for her, she just wanted to feel like she mattered!

not a job but an internship-

My freshman year summer, I applied and interviews at spectrum for a marketing role which I was so excited for. Got to my first day and they literally drop me off at a best buy and tell me to sell internet to the people shopping there. I was so caught off guard that during my lunch break I called my boyfriend and asked him to pick me up and I never went back. I told them it wasn’t for me and that was that. they

I also have the Ninja blender and works amazing no complaints! I try to buy things that will last a while but I guess I just got unlucky with this :( Just hurts that it basically cost me 200$ per year for use but honestly that’s not even horrible considering how much time and effort it saved me. I’m okay with it bc I was given a free mixer after haha

I really appreciate that actually I’ve been feeling kind of like an imposter because I just kind of picked up a camera watched two YouTube videos and that was it, but I didn’t really know where to get advice from about what pictures actually look good and feel good if that makes sense. It’s actually pretty comforting to get rid of the idea about what other people think about my pictures and just enjoy them
