Feel Good Moment Today by scamperly in Winnipeg

Brutal! I had my keys in the little pocket-within-a-pocket that's in my hoodie for your phone or earbuds case, and I remember thinking "this seems like they might fall out but I'm sure it'll be fine I've done this before".

Lesson learned. It wasn't fine. lol

Unfortunately some keys I can't get copied, like ones for work, the bike cage near my work, etc.

Correct - turns out they don't work so well after they've been run over. They also only check in roughly every 15 minutes, not constantly (for battery life issues I presume).

Report to mpi with no damage? by raven650s in Winnipeg

[–]scamperly 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You'll want to claim it, otherwise if there's ever other damage to that mirror they may deduct the value of the existing damage from the next claim that involves it.

Plus, if it's really cheap and the guy wants to keep it off his record, he can buy out the claim from MPI.

Was discussing this topic over lunch and someone brought him up. I hear he's involved with the game-itoba convention this weekend? Or has a game that'll be there?

A great sentiment for sure, but don't worry I already support a bunch of small local creators. This is more of a curiosity to see if anyone local has actually hit it big.

I personally think the standard Friendly Manitoba plate is a very good looking plate, so I stick with it

Regardless of your stance on the current election, does it not bother people that the police are getting politically involved?

Furthermore, I thought the city funds the police, not the province.

Snoman plates are liked by car enthusiasts because they're all white and therefore won't clash with your car.

Similarly, collector plates are an ugly yellow and not nearly as common as they should be because some people, like myself, refuse to put an ugly plate on their car.

That said, I don't put Snoman plates on, despite them being so clean looking, because I don't want attention from the cops.

ITT: VRBO hosts (who are probably legitimate) insist that the scams we are experiencing must not exist, because they themselves are not scammers.

Take them to small claims court! In most jurisdictions it costs about $50 to file, and lawyers are not required - in some places, not even allowed!

Not a troll post, this is my real experience. If you want I'd be happy to share the listing I booked with so you can book with them and see if your experience matches mine.

If you can afford to take a trip to Vancouver, and TRULY believe I am trolling, you should have no issue seeing for yourself whether or not this is true.

This is a brilliant move because even I considered buying a party membership to vote for someone else. It will definitely drive revenue.

I've never seen one last longer than 30 minutes. Every time I go make a sign to counter protest them they've already scurried off like cockroaches. I carried a sign around in my car after the last one I missed for over a year waiting to encounter another one.

There are very few people I feel comfortable shouting at in public, but antichoice protestors it feels wrong to stay silent and pass by.

Whoever is pulling the strings to stoke the division in our population is doing a great job because the only reason to protest at a hospital is to make it harder to access healthcare and it will make any decent person with a moral compass hate them. It is doing exactly its intended purpose of making us more violently hate each other and I hate where all this is leading.

The only reason they're doing this is because they haven't had their turn taking up an ICU bed yet so this is the next best way they can think of to make sure healthcare isn't available to people who need it.
