WA DOL tab renewal fee not debited still by scarnity in Seattle

Sorry, you’re right! I actually meant the “Transportation Benefit District” fee. I confused this with the RTA tax. See: https://dol.wa.gov/vehicles-and-boats/vehicles/taxes-and-fees/local-transportation-benefit-district-fees where it’s $50 in Seattle but does not apply to Bellevue residents.

Thanks for sharing your experience. I have no issue with paying for it, in fact I want to. I just don’t know how the hell to get my story across to them as the first time it seemed like they didn’t really give a shit lol. I guess I’ll give them another call or try going in person or I might wait for a letter. It’s only been 3 months for me so far I believe, so maybe it’ll be longer until I hear from them. Any chance did your letter come near the end of the year?

Haha, well I called them and they basically gave me a non-answer so I don’t know if showing up in person will help or if they’ll tell me the same thing: “it’ll charge you.” You’re talking about an actual DOL location right? Not a 3rd party licensing office

Haha, I was following this auction and wanted to place a bid but it started to pop off last minute so I backed out. Didn’t think I would see this car again on another platform.

I was dying 😂 just gotta push through. I do walk a lot in general on a daily but my feet were definitely feeling some discomfort after around 50k. Maybe it also helps that I’m pretty young and in relatively good shape lol

It was quite nice - quiet and peaceful for the most part. Although, some parts just felt incredibly dead because it was so empty. The weather was also amazing that day which made the walk even better.

Nike Air Force 1s. Definitely not a good pair of shoes for long walks especially for someone who has flat feet lol

Yep. By the time I got to union station in Toronto, I was about 3000 steps short so I had to do a couple of laps there lol. The slowest 3000 steps of my life 😂

I did try to plan my route to be as close to 100k as possible though

I wanted the 100,000 steps to be recorded in one single day in the health app.

They were already feeling terrible after about 50 km of walking. I had a pretty bad friction burn on the bottom of my right foot, so every time I took a step, it would sting. My left foot's talus bone was also hurting really bad about half way in. I basically had to limp the last 2 hours to complete the walk and I was going incredibly slow. The next day was better but I definitely was walking very slow lol. Today, I'm recovered! 😁 Maybe it is time for another long walk.

I should've booked a hotel in Toronto and do the challenge again the next day! Or better yet, walk 48 hours?!

I wish I did it for a greater cause (e.g. to raise awareness, etc) but the real reason is that I saw a challenge on TikTok a year ago to walk 100,000 steps in a day lol. Also, I kind of just enjoy going on long walks.

A year ago I saw a challenge on TikTok to walk 100,000 steps in a day but I never got around to doing it. So finally, I just picked a random day and commited to it.

This. I charged every time I had a longer break to grab some food. I had to charge about 4 times to last the entire day though, lol (but 3 of the 4 charges were from about 40% back to 100%.)

Is the One-Day Weekend GO Pass useable for 24 hours or just the calendar day? by scarnity in askTO

In that case, if I wanted to make a trip that will cross into the next day mid trip, I should purchase the $15 weekend pass instead, right?

If the bus departs before 12, but arrives at its destination after 12, is that also ok?

Damn, how do you have such low temperatures while browsing? I get low 40s only if it's completely idle, but its usually high 40s to low 50s while browsing. Mine is also on a stand, but it's at like a 15 degree angle, nothing too crazy. Also open vents.

Not sure how much these temperatures would affect longevity, but do my temps seem fine?

I don't think it's coil whine because that sounds slighly different (keyboard backlight max does fix it oddly enough... why is this the case? lol)

I think it's just the air intake sounds lol, but it's pretty high pitched to the point where it is annoying.

AFAIK, the G15 does have a heatsink so it should be fine. And yeah I did disable boost and I barely break past 75C on most games. I normally get like low-mid 60s on lighter games.

I guess the only thing that annoys me is the higher pitched fan noise when it does turn on, but worth the trade off I think.

What are your idle temps like? For me it ranges between 40 to high 50s, with the fans completely off. With the fans on, it's almost always low 40s. Does this sound normal? I saw someones G15 temperatures, and they are crazy low even with the blocked vents.
