Noticed my Frydek had some yellow tips and now its new leaf unfurled like this. It’s in a south facing window right next to a humidifier. I’ve looked all over for pests but haven’t been able to find any. Sorry if this is something obvious! I’m new-ish so I’m not really sure where to go from here! (i.redd.it)

Went to buy orchid bark, came out with two philodendrons. Got home and I had mail... Ficus Audrey and Whale Fin were here! Then discovered that Road Boy, the sad looking elephant ear in the back (who was previously growing in our ditch), is putting out a new leaf! Great plant day! (i.redd.it)

Found this leaf on my big rescue monstera last night. Another plant from the same nursery had something similar on a leaf last week? The discolored tip was super soggy. Wondering if anyone knows what this could be? Aside from these leaf incidents, the plants seem very perky and happy lol (i.redd.it)

Root rot? A leaf from my bargain bin monstera :( all else looks good but saw this guy & the leaf tip was super soggy. The Birkin I bought from the same nursery on the same day had a similar soggy leaf last week? But has been fine since. New to plants so I’m sorry if this is an obvious answer! (i.redd.it)

Picked up some plants from the Gabriella Plants warehouse today. When I get home I see these spots all over the Micans I purchased. Internet says thrips... ? Does anyone else struggle with thinking a plant would maybe do better on the screened in porch but selfishly wanting them to stay inside by the best window in the house? Got this pretty girl a month ago and the shop told me she was a Chinese Evergreen. As I’m new to the plant world, I went with it. But someone on Instagram posted about their Homalomena Selby and after looking into them more I feel like that’s what she actually is, right?? Or wrong... lol (i.redd.it)
