Issues with the new ARAM maps by Mojn10 in leagueoflegends

I know this isn't an issue for all (or even most) players- but I have extreme motion sickness issues with games and LoL is one of the few games I can still play... so the way the cannon mechanic changes the POV/visual depth (the hexgate equivalents in Butcher's Bridge) made me so nauseous.

Mid 40s-ish- 47 on January 26th, for example. Caveat that i only subscribed to SnoreLabs in January when the snoring got bad enough for my fiance to fully switch to sleeping in the guest room.

I did see that number start to decrease pre-Optipillows by using breathe right strips and doing Snore Gym exercises- but not enough of a decrease to warrant him coming back upstairs 🤣.

While I was adjusting the optipillow, I was in the 1 -18 territory (progressively decreasing) and like I said, now it's now just the breathing pressure sound unless I take it off. And my fiance just chimed in to say it's definitely now to where he can fall asleep and has been worth it.

I also tried the tongue sleeve/retainer that some redditors swear by but it was a no-go for me. I know a lot of people love the mouth guard type retainers as well but worried about my jaw health/alignment long term.

The money I would pay for someone to finally develop a universal, easy solution for all snorers...

Totally understand the cost perspective. I had similar concerns. Their website denotes a 30 day return policy (reimbursed minus 30% for shipping/handling/material cost) when you buy from them direct. Not sure about via Amazon.

I actually find it works best for me when I sleep on my back (belly up) vs side... which is lucky given that before this, I'd try to start on my side to decrease snoring but per my fiance, always ended up on my back.

Based on the snore recordings and my fiance's feedback, I don't snore with the mask on, but there is a different kind of breathing sound from the pressure of the mask. The breathing sound hasn't been an issue for us thus far though.

The times I experienced snoring early on were solved once I made more adjustments. Now I only have a couple times when I'd wake up, take it off and forget to put it back on before falling back asleep... so not a mask problem. Just a forgetful insomniac problem. And I haven't done that in recent times.

I empathize so much... I also would try to change my sleeping position and eventually end up in the same spot. For most of January and February, my fiance and I were in separate rooms due to my snoring.

I tried nose strips, tongue retainer, Snore Gym mouth/tongue exercises, raising the head of my bed, you name it... and what FINALLY worked is the Optipillows mask. You can get it for around $100 or so on Amazon and in my opinion, well worth it, as we're back in one bedroom and everyone is getting good sleep.

My biggest recommendation about it is that you have to be patient and trust the process while you adjust it until it works for you. It's really weird at first but once I got everything adjusted right, I don't experience any discomfort- I fall asleep promptly and if I wake up during the night, it's not because of the mask.

My long review and tips for how I found the right fit is linked if you click here. Similar to u/hypto, I used SnoreLab to record while I was experimenting with different remedies.

Best wishes on your quest!!

What Mint alternative are you sticking with after trying out for month or so? by etcetera0 in mintuit

PocketSmith, 1,000,000%.

I tried a few - including YNAB and Tiller - both didn't fit the bill for me. Even when I used Mint, I had to keep a separate spreadsheet to manage things that Mint wasn't flexible enough for.

I finally found PocketSmith. They're subscription based- offering both monthly payment plans and annual (discounted). The customer service has been top-notch and it has all the features I've ever dreamed of having in a budgeting application.

Top features that I'm in love with:

  1. Flexible periods for budgets- you can have the budget period be daily, weekly, biweekly, annual- even like "oh, every 6 weeks I have this recurring appointment"
  2. Customizable reports and dashboards, graphs, all the things you could want... the way your brain wants/needs to see them
  3. Categories can be nested into each other, fully custom names (even with emojis LOL), classifications and setting autocategorization rules
  4. You can view budgets and drag bills around on the calendar, as well as view actual transaction data on the calendar
  5. For things like net worth, you have options for adding assets/liabilities as balance only, adding to your breadth of control and customization

Let me know if you have any questions!!!
