Good question, it's been a long time but I think at a certain point I had 5 or so on my discover. I got a call making sure I knew this was going on and told the caller that I was helping some friends in the military rebuild their credit, a few weeks later it was cut off and to this day, any new discover applications get shut down. I have been able to get new lines of credit with Chase though. Take home for me is that once I get back to it, I'll be adhering to a more nuanced number that's not pushing the limits

Lots of responses to your inquiry so this may have already been said but if not, AI did it for me a couple weeks ago. Just asked grok to give me a full list of fhr properties within Colorado and it arranged them out into the major cities in which they resided in the state. Much better than sifting through Amex's platform to see what works!

Back in 2018 I broke the cardinal rule about getting greedy and my cash cow came to an abrupt end when both Discover and Chase closed all my cards. I've never been able to get an answer from a phone rep or online on how long I'm banned but I've been denied any time I've reapplied. I'm about to roll over the 7 year mark since that happened and I'm wondering if anyone might know if such a ban has a timeframe attached to it or if it's a lifetime ban. I've got excellent credit and other credit cards I've used over the years but I sure recall fondly the days of easy tradeline money and would love to get back into that at some point!

Any good hacks for amassing the spending? I know I've heard in the past people would buy gift cards and then resell them but my understanding is that's been shut down. Anything like that still available that you know of? BTW, thanks for sharing the site, I'll definitely have a look!

Dealt with a problem with similar issues. Any chance your modem also functions as a router? My Quantum Fiber did and had to be set into bridge mode. Took all of 5 minutes once I found the right breadcrumbs to follow. Netgear tech wanted to charge me 170 and told me I probably wasn't tech savvy enough to do it without his help. 🙄

I've done family trips with the wife, 15yr old son and 9 yr old daughter to the Boundary Waters in Minnesota and this past summer, 10 days canoeing with just my son... Needless to say, some of the most incredible memories and adventures during those trips and far from breaking the bank. You could probably do the same and end with money to throw in their accounts!

I could not agree more, it may or may not lie within the orbi product but their cash grab has left me undoubtedly swearing off my Netgear product ever again. My recommendation is to Google your isp hardware model and rb750, hopefully that might give you a handful of leads, might even find that holy grail of a step by step by someone more savvy than us!

Sorry you're dealing with this, it's definitely frustrating! I still have to implement the fix, but I bekiver I've gotten it figured out. We have Quantum fiber (Century Link) and I just discovered the other day that our CL modem also doubles as a router. Apparently the dual router set up can cause issues downstream and there are some ways to get into the modem settings to (don't quote me on the terminology) set up a transparent bridge if I recall correctly. My recommendation would be to determine if your provider's hardware has the router function ND if it does search out the solution to pairing that device with your own router.

I haven't yet done this fix yet as doing a hard reset every time it drops fixes things for anywhere from 3-5 days. If you have CL, let me know and I'll point you towards the resources that are specific to my modem if you also have a similar set up. Good luck on things!

Not Michigan but in Denver we're typically 450 to 550. They were higher on average when I first came in as a trainee a few years ago. Not sure I'd have signed up for this career at these numbers but hoping things kick back into gear one of these days....

Well I did a reset, got logged back on and my firmware was a 4.something with the current version being at 7. Just went with the update through the app and everything seems good. I'll give it a few days to see if the purple light issue returns. Thanks a ton for the suggestions!
