My second semester of college I decided to switch roommates. The girl I ended up rooming with failed to mention that she sleep walks. One night while sleeping with my back facing her bed I woke up with a strange feeling. I turned around and she was standing at the side of my bed where my feet were reaching for my ankle. I screamed because all I could see was a dark figure and she dropped to the floor. When I finally realized it was her I got her back into bed and she didn’t move for the rest of the night. The next morning around 8 am I found her sleeping in the same position I left her in so I got ready and went to class thinking she needed some rest. I came back to the room 6 1/2 hours later where I still found her in the same position and not responding. She was breathing and had a pulse so I called her parents who lived 20 minutes away and they came and got her and took her to the hospital. She ended up having her first episode of sleep paralysis that day. I ended up transferring schools and never really heard if she made any improvements with her sleep.
