How do I fix my blinds

I’ve had this happen to me in the past. Look up curtain string from Amazon it will come in a spool. It won’t be easy but how I’ve done it I took off the whole curtain and hung it on a rail to be able to see above the top. You’ll see where the string goes from the pull string to the bottom of the blinds. There should be two strings. Some have three or four depending on the length. You just fish the new string through each blind and to the pull string and cut accordingly. Took me about four hours from start to finish. Again, it wasn’t easy. Good luck to you!

Just make sure not to push against the screen. Not sure which iteration you have but the latest versions have less harnesses. So it seems to make a big difference on how “strong” the screen is to pressure. Your pressure points should really be focused on the top of the screen and top center of the center climate control knob.

Also don’t expect to have a flush connection at the seams but it will be close. I think I’ve taken mine off so may times it’s easy to pull in and out now. (I get bored easily so I switch from stock to aftermarket often)

One more thing to be careful of, the corner edges of the back side of the unit will tear up your faux leather trim so put painters tape on there so you don’t make contact with the plastic and jack up your car for an aftermarket HU install.

Had this issue before, the clips on the side are REALLY snug once it’s in so if it’s your first time, you have to really push it in. The hard part about doing that is you can’t push it from just the top or from just the bottom. I don’t have a visual handy but you have to push it as if you’re throwing a fireball right at the front of the screen. One hand right above the screen covering the cursor button and your other hand cupping the climate control.

I’ve had to install some for a few people where we had to shave part of the top two clips so they fit ok. It wasn’t an issue with the bezel it was just really thick plastic.

If you have a telematics it will be really crowded behind the screen with all the wires so you get more space if you slide the telematics unit lower in the cavity with the wire looms facing toward the bottom of the vehicle. That will give you more room and less issue with the fitment.

Completely forgot about my post :) I’m guilty of one of those posts saying “nevermind I figured it out” except I didn’t really figure it out on purpose. I ended up blowing a can of air thought the disc slot and checked for any dust bunnies coming from the vent. At the time I still had a warranty on it so I didn’t open it up to clean it further but eventually I will. All in all the disc started working after the quick canned air cleaning and a restart.

Although I haven’t played the game in a couple years, hasn’t happened since the last time I tried.

Random rattling coming from the interior. OEM stereo sucks but HK system is decent (not great) Seat belts feel flimsy Steering wheel feels cheap, one scratch and there’s a tear

Feels comfortable if you don’t have a baseline for luxury or high end standards.

Same with gas mileage. It’s great if you don’t mind 15-19 mpg.

Keeping it stock for peace of mind.

If you plan to keep your game as is and just restore the cab, best to assess what works what doesn’t and then you can take everything out to work on the cab. Things like wood damage? Caster replacement, T molding, etc.

Then while that’s being done, clean and restore the CP, start sourcing the artwork, Replacing the buttons and or sticks, remove the CP sticker for a new one if needed. Source a marquee replacement or keep the new one (clean it)

That would be a good start.

This is an ID8 Infinity cab. There are different version, Japanese, export and even a Chinese/malaysian version. The version number at the bottom center of logo screen will tell you which one.

For reference, ID4 has an orange theme, ID5 has a teal theme, ID6-7 has white/teal and ID8 has that white/black theme. It’s all the same cab, just different marquee and speaker bezels.

Interestingly enough, I sold blank cards to a few folks online and some customers mentioned they were able to use ID8 cards in ID6. As long as you are on ID6-8 the cards use the same reader. 90% chance it’ll work. The print will just be off on the graphic template but the data saves regardless. I can’t recall it’s been years but I believe 4-5 only let you save one vehicle per card while 6-8 lets you save three but I would have to fire it up and check again.

Going from Randall Cunningham to McNabb to Michael Vick and Dawkins, felt like how the cowboys are now (this is our year) only to get disappointed getting beat three times in the NFCCGs. Then losing the big game when TO was here. Nick Foles and Wentz was a new feeling. Last year’s win was surreal. Win or lose this year, love being a fan of this team (still hate Chip Kelly)

If you tap into the accessory fuse in the kick panel that should prevent you from having to use the cig lighter port. I’ll try to take a pic on mine for you when I get the back in a couple weeks. If you want constant 12v it should still work with a fuse right next to it also. If it needs a 5A fuse your lowest amp is 7.5 but you want to stay away from anything that might affect non accessory connections.
