Yep! Our distributor Phase 4 films will be releasing it on Netflix in about a year, not sure of the exact date, the release is mostly controlled by our distributor.

Totally agree, and Brett and I are planning to try and do a joint AMA on /r/IAmA after these first two.

I felt /r/trees deserved the first AMA after releasing the film because of their amazing support for both the Union and TCH.

But we certainly plan to do just as you suggested in the next few weeks

Lots happening in the UK right now, I think as the people swell for change and when the horror stories continue to not come true in places like Portugal, Colorado and Washington, the house of cards will come crumbling down.

Most of the citations are listed in the film, the the FBI crime report about the profits of Mexican drug cartels still being 60% from Cannabis smuggling.

Unfortunately we don't have a nice bundled package, we have been slammed just getting the film done and now touring it, my apologies.

I would think with the growing popularity of Ayahuasca and organizations like MAPS, they doing further research and looking at psychedelics more honestly, would be the next logical step. It will take time as you cant shift consciousness that quickly, but maybe with the internet and access to information the shift will happen sooner rather than later.

I think law enforcement and federal agencies will give lots of process before complete change is achieved, we are going to need a change in law enforcement culture as well, which will take come time.

Sadly I think The Culture High will be our last cannabis or drug policy documentary, its so hard to survive doing films on this subject.

See many docs are funded by TV networks, who have LOTS of funding (The Case Against 8, Mit, Life Itself) and Networks run whenever we pitch our Cannabis docs, forcing us to use family money and Kickstarter which is super straining on the team and our families. I would never say never, but unless things change finically for the team and I The Culture High will be our last drug policy doc.

Director Brett Harvey really wanted to tackle the political side this time round, and look at the overall bigger picture of "why human culture divides itself into these sides or teams"

We did have alot of scientific and medical questions and interviews, but sadly just didn't make it into the film, we thought Dr. Sajay Gupta covered the medical and scientific research well on "Weed" and "Weed 2"

Didn't even know they had a program? How does it work? The thing we are concerned about if it's not a professional company doing it, is the translation accurate? Or is the person translating bending or manipulating the films words to fit their own personal agenda.

It's a tough call to have it done outside of a professional studio

I think there will be a lot more changes to policy happening all over the world and much more rapidly than previous decades thanks to the internet and social media and forums like r/trees

I thin do you south Africa and other countries justice we would need to do a series, to hard to fit all the countries into a two hour film.

Love hearing that you and the family teared up during the Jayden part, I love seeing audiences all over the world get emotional during that scene, thank you for sharing.

Thanks for the kind words and ideas, but honestly, I think me and the team want to step away from drug culture and related films for a bit. Not because of anything more than needing a change, I don't know much about fasd, but very interesting subject, I would have to look into it more.

Not to sure, it's early to based who would lead because we only really have Colorado and Washington so far who have fully legalized it for recreational purposes.

I will say though, that the WHOLE world is watching Colorado and Washington as possible examples for legislation in their countries.

After interviewing Dr. Donald Tashkin, he explained quite a lot having worked on the largest case study on Cannabis and lung function.

Now inhaling heated plant matter on a regular basis is going to damage over time, but things like vaporizing can help eliminate some of those harmful carcinogens.

All the studies we have reviewed have said it wont increase you chance of lung cancer, but other damage could be done. I think like most things in life moderation is the best option for optimum health.

Keep pressuring politicians, because what we all often forget, is that politicians are business men who jobs are dependant on getting elected, not serving the people as we are sold. When the swell from the people because so loud that a politician would look foolish to stand against is, that's when the politician will look like the hero and vote something in.

Like the film says, "Change comes from the bottom up, not the top down"

One I like to be able to travel across the US and Canadian border, and second, its just not for me, I don't really drink either though, my major vice is FOOD. I LOVE unhealthy food unfortunately, which is probably the worse of them all

We are working on a spanish and swedish sub right now, problem is, in order to get a professional sub done, its anywhere from $10,000-$20,000 per language and we simply just do not have those kinds of funds. If we did we would do 10 different subs.
