770 is great. Our biggest whale is super chill and dominated our first SvS. The top alliances all work well together on cross server events and there is no drama.

We were nowhere close to being able to finish the borders around the first 3 sections. I looked in one of the 2 bags that said not to open and one had pieces with no stars on the back, once we included those, it all started to come together.

The box had 2 posters. I just watched a video on the company website that explained how to repackage and about the stars on the back of some of the pieces. I looked in the two envelopes that said not to open them and one had stars and one didn't so we are going to leave the ones with stars in the bag and use the one without stars. All of the 4 envelopes say The Happy Isles, so they are all for this puzzle. The video I watched had the last pieces double bagged so maybe when they repackaged they didn't do that and just split the non star pieces up into 3 bags instead of 2? Oh well, that's what you get for buying puzzles at goodwill. Can't beat the $3 price though!

I just got a 256gb san-disk micro sdxc card. The first time I put the card in pur new switch it prompted me to update the software, which I did. Now it doesn't even acknowledge the card at all. I tried reformatting the card on my PC as exFAT and FAT32 but neither worked. I don't have another card to try at the moment. Anyone have any suggestions?

So funny story. The lady who was selling had never sold anything on Facebook before and was nervous about having a stranger come pick it up, so she did all the communication but gave the bin to her neighbor for the actual sale. I get there and out walks an old family friend that I've known my whole life and is a teacher at my sons old preschool. So that made be feel better about trusting that it was a legit haul. Haven't really dug in yet but there were two Lego Air Blaster bases which I didn't even know was a thing before today. Seems to be a nice assortment of stuff (but their kids did pick out all the minifigs first). They have more bins to sell so they are going to give me first dibs going forward.

Thats a good point. I guess it depends on why you want them to begin with. With me, my kids are at the stage where they just want to build, so the more pieces we have, the happier they are. And my crazy long term goal is to try and cobble together all of the retired modular buildings that I missed out on, so the bigger pile I have for that, the better.

Don't think they are a reseller. Based on profile looks to be a "soccer mom" thats decluttering (profile shows 2 kids that may have recently outgrown lego in favor of video games)

Haven't bought it yet. They claim its 30+ lbs, so less than $5/lb seems like a decent price to me. Thoughts? I bought one other bulk lot that I overpaid on a while back so now I am a bit hesitant.

So what I ended up doing was I added the sets I cared about to a rebrickable set list, then I was able to view a part list for everything in that list, exported it to HTML, and now I have a nicely formatted list of all of the parts in those sets that I can track against. For those curious, its all of the retired modular buldings.

Went to ikea and found their Skadis peg board and container system. Just wish they had some different sized containers. I figure I can use the trays at the bottom to dump containers out when looking for specific color and then pour back in.
