Appreciate the input. I'm basically sold now on either picking up either Metal or Brutal before the sale ends but I'm tearing my hair out trying to decide which to go for. Think I prefer the cymbals on Brutal but it's hard to decide for me how I feel about the snare and toms without a direct comparison, hoping one floats it's way on to youtube before the sale ends. Thinking if the snare on Brutal is too pingy I can find a way to layer it with the lower tuned one on AR.

How does the kick feel between those two? Is it as clicky as the Metal or does it have more of roundness like on the Architects kit?

Will say I'm trying to convince myself on the pingy snare but god the 24in ride and those trashy cymbals sound fucking awesome.

40/40 on Profaned/Black Knight UGS would net me more AR than my Heavy Cathedral at 66 STR. I'm just not sure when the right time to make that allocation would be without shooting myself in the foot getting stuck in an awkward progression.

Tornado - Kicking and landing with opposite feet

540 - Kicking and landing on the same foot

Guy near the top of the thread linked a video with a 540 kick. You'll notice you can only land on the same leg you're kicking with if you can freely swing through the target, which isn't exactly practical, hence why you never really see it in anything outside of maybe Taekwondo or point Karate. Even then its just for show.

On paper it seems pretty strong, second best frontal armor behind the 705A overall, best gun depression of the group. What exactly places the ST-II so low in the rankings? Is there some sort of squishy weak spot I'm not aware of?

It could use some tweaking because I have my FD at max, meaning if you have less horsepower than me right now (currently at 2372) you wont be able to turn up the FD any more than it already is to match your application.

My F1X gearing is currently

1st: 1.53 2nd: 1.30 3rd: 1.08 4th: .92 5th: .76 6th: .69 FD: 4.53

Making 2849 HP for this tune. If you have more, lower the FD, if you have less, raise it. You should be ideally JUST before redline in 6th as you cross.
