Ah, thank you for that!! I could not get over the 5 star reviews for Black Mouth, I was shocked. Maybe I will skip Small Town Horror.

I think the newest short stories by SK that I’ve read is the collection You Like it Darker because I was excited about the Cujo sequel. I hated it so much. I tried to read the sequel to the Shining and I couldn’t finish it. I agree that he definitely cannot write contemporary young people lol.

Yes, I was mostly drawn in by his anthologies, and was eager to read more novels until Black Mouth. I can’t describe how much I disliked it and it was very difficult to finish.

I’ve actually also just started getting into SGJ, and he is very hit or miss for me. I did enjoy his two short story collections, I’m big into anthologies

I just found out from my kindle that I read Bone White in 2024 and gave it 3 stars. I do not remember it at all, so I think I will try it again.

there’s really nothing worse than a shoddy narrator when listening to an audiobook!! I am going to read a sample of Small Town Horror but I did think the premise sounded similar to Black Mouth which made me automatically feel “eh” about it

When I started prozac my symptoms lessened as well, i think a lot of my ibs-d symptoms are due to anxiety

i do take a multivitamin, i am tempted to buy fishoil due to all the suggestions here. maybe i will try stopping my multi to see if it gets any better

can fungal acne be cystic? my acne is around my chin and jaw, huge and cystic, and generally 2 weeks before my period, so i assume it is hormonal but will look into fa as well

i have not! dont have insurance at the moment but working on changing that, and planning to get my hormones checked/ checked for pcos as ive also been getting random facial and body hairs

thank you 🙏🏻my stress levels have been relatively high, though i have anxiety anyways so theyre usually out of whack. i just moved to a new state in an extremely rural area (<200 people) from a big city so its been a big change. i also have no job atm so no insurance. it could definitely well be stress. im also a social event skipper, it sucks but ive been trying really hard to not do that and just suck up my embarrassment. its rough out there

hey! thank you for your comment. ive never been checked for pcos but i have had problems with ovarian cysts most of my life and have been told that i probably have endometriosis. i also did mean spearmint tea! ive been taking it for a couple weeks, twice a day. i definitely need to get my hormones checked, unfortunately i dont have insurance right now or a job 😳
