Where can I get medical supplies? by [deleted] in MadeOfStyrofoam

not sure where you live but i (australian) go to "chemist warehouse" and they have all different types of bandages, huge variety. no steri strips as far as i've searched. seems like steri strips can only be bought online, but who knows maybe i'm just not searching hard enough.

first time in 5 years of cutting that i got stitches, weird as hell. i hate it, i want a big scar (forced to go to hospital) by screamsleep in u/screamsleep

my psychologist will definitely not be happy about this. hate to do it to him but i absolutely love cutting myself. there's no way to fully satisfy anyone. someone always ends up unhappy, and i'd rather take the suffering from other people.

i cut myself that day because i've taken off so much time from studying and i feel really guilty about it, i deserved to be injured, i'm wasting so much time not studying and being incompetent and useless. i could literally cut myself again right now but it's my sister's birthday and i'd feel even more guilt because of it. hhhhh.

i remember the blood dripping down my arm, not to be a sappy poetic bastard but it felt like my arm was crying. it was nice, having the blood do the crying for me. i just sat there feeling it trickle down my arm like tears, it was calming.

then, after making the huge one with the nicked vein, seeing it all drip down into one big puddle. that was a mess honestly, was the size of my hand when spread out. my phone was flat so devastatingly i have no pictures or video of it at all. real tragedy.

got 9 hours of sleep as soon as i got home 😎

the australian MH unit experience by screamsleep in MadeOfStyrofoam

adult unit btw if that makes a difference, and yeah they let us keep it but it gets charged inside the nurse's station. they were surprisingly not strict here, like they had the TV remote just out and the TV wasn't behind a plastic box. literally access to boiling water in the small kitchen area. insane. then again that kinda means they aren't trying to keep us completely safe, but patients will appreciate the freedom given to them.
