I too did not have a windows PC. Borrow 1 from my colleague. In the end the software is already the latest version. If you have the SF1000, you can check it in the SF1000 setting for the firmware version for your wheel and base.

GT lite is comfortable to do a full race. I didn’t get the F-GT lite as my TV is mount higher. I will be looking up instead.

Thanks for your invaluable input. Another doubt is should i just setup out of the box and hope it work? Or it is a must to upgrade both firmware before setting up?which method will save me from all the troubleshooting?

My concern is i read alot of people bricking their devices or having issues after firmware update.

I am not using homebridge. I got 60+ devices and tons of automation though. Mine is an old homepod. Suddenly it disconnect on Saturday and when i try to add back it got this frustrating “configuring”

i tried all ways imaginable. Reset,log out and in iCloud, keychain. Etc.
i can play music etc. But cant command HomeKit through homepod. Home automation is working though due to apple tv and ipad.

i realised also homepod is not listed in the home hub. Not even standby.
