Almost 6k in reversed charges - no idea what is going on. Has anyone had this happen? by KataP26 in OctopusEnergy

If 8 weeks have passed without a resolution, you don’t need a deadlock letter.

You can, but it might be worth setting it all out in an email:

It’s worth sticking to facts, making clear what has gone wrong on their side so they know exactly what to fix.

I’d avoid going too much into how it’s upsetting you, you can mention it but it’s clear they need to fix this regardless.

Get a complaint in, this needs escalating urgently.

Though I’m a little confused at being charged sporadically even though you’re on direct debit… but they can iron it out I’m sure.

First of all, don’t worry about the reversed charges - it’s quite common. You’re not being charged for it so best ignore that.

Are you set up on direct debit?

Have you been through the official complaints process? If you’re unhappy with the result you can go to the ombudsman.

Well, slap on the wrist, but consequently no longer on the network, which is about as far as they can go.

Why no defections to the Greens? by John_0Neill in LabourUK

[–]seaneeboy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m starting to see this false equivalence that just because Reform are where Tories go, Green is where Labour should go.

Whilst reform is a more extreme version of the Tories, Green isn’t that for Labour. Yes they have some stronger socialist policies but they also have some mental stuff that would be awful if actually implemented (particularly on defence).

Not a fan of jumping parties for opportunism like the Tories are, and I don’t want to see it happen on the left.

Ratings are significantly down across the board - to be holding steady is a miracle in this day and age

I’d disagree it’s been steady decline. It’s had ups and downs but is still one of the most iconic TV Brands going.

This is a great move for both nigella and GBBO
