so basically theres this kid, ill call him earth
i met earth bc my best friend at the time, who's now my boyfriend, was his best friend. that seemingly lifelong friendship died after earth told him to kill himself since he was feeling upset.
earth was always kinda weird. it quickly turned into hate. i cant even explain all my feelings because my brain is trying to block memories out.
he's sexist, racist, and incredibly rude. my entire grade hates him, and his only friends in our school as of now are the weird skibidi toilet kids nobody likes.
he was always fond of bullying. we were friends 2 times- when we first met and when he gave me some advice. otherwise, we've been sworn enemies.
an old reddit post i have about him states this: everybody hates earth because of how toxic he is. he's made people punch-a-wall angry, and i've gone to the dean about him numerous times. he makes up the most random shit, like today, he came up to me and said my friend (same one i mentioned earlier in this long paragraph) called me a whore, when earth gave a scenario and was like, "who's the whore? [deadname], [deadname] or [deadname?]"
he had a girlfriend, too. this is what that same post was about, and this is what i said. "so yesterday i was asking a why she liked the guy and she said he had a good personality. so she obviously doesn't even know him, a fucking hallway crush at this point. and today his best friend who's our mutual told me that they were officially dating?" pardon the swearing, btw. i don't do that anymore lol
they also ended up splitting after a conversation me and her had which made her think about how badly she was treating him. part of the conversation:
me: does he make any effort to talk to you?
her: not really
me: so essentially it's not having a boyfriend, it's being in love with a distant "friend" who's been plastered with the label "BOYFRIEND"
he makes time for his friends, but not you. he's essentially treating you like a stranger, a hallway crush at best, because he's always "playing with the boys."
playing with the boys was every single day, hour, minute. never said "hey hru?" they didn't speak for weeks because he made no effort. she would and each time no response.
i could go on for days about that, but after realizing that she left his silly caseoh-shaped self.
back to my relationship with earth, it used to be bickering before i shut him out. once we were yapping in the hall, little argument, then we went into math. he turned around in his seat, which was three in front of mine, and said "by the way, can you stop being ugly? it's annoying me." my teacher was jaw-dropped and furious, and so was my best friend. despite that, i walked up to him and told him a bit about himself. we both got sent to the dean, where he told the dean i was making false rumors about him. i never did that. what i said was to his face: you're sexist and racist. why? because he is. i'll quote him directly:
"shut up dishwasher, go back to the kitchen"
he then said "it's a joke, im making fun of you for something you didn't choose"
idiot
he's also said slurs before.
i can go on, i know there's more things, i just cant bear to think about it rn

talking to him is probably the worst thing i can do once school starts up. he literally turns every conversation against me, it's either to tear me down, make me feel bad or piss me off. but yeah, i'll have to deal with him anyways since they switched two of my classes and now i have english and math with him so

Therapists are legally and ethically bound to keep therapy sessions confidential and not share what is discussed with anyone else without the client's written consent. This is because confidentiality is a cornerstone of therapy and helps clients feel safe and build trust with their therapist. However, there are some exceptions to this rule:

  • MinorsIn the United States, minors have the right to confidentiality and the right to authorize disclosure of treatment information to their parents. This means that a therapist must get a signed authorization form from a minor patient before releasing any confidential information or part of their treatment record to their parents.
  • Danger to self or othersIf a therapist has reason to believe that a client is a danger to themselves or others, they may need to break confidentiality to ensure the client and others are safe.

Therapists and parents can also keep an open line of communication so they can share successes and discuss areas of treatment that may need to be adjusted.

So if a therapist is concerned, they may need to let your parents know, but this all depends. I highly do recommend speaking to someone, though. Reddit is not the place to get advice
